I stayed at Cocobay for 4 days and have had by far the best experience at any resort I've stayed at. We had to take a boat to the resort which definitely adds to the experience of a 'getaway', and the resort is fairly secluded and facing the water, leading to unparalleled serenity. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful, warm and always at our disposal, truly committed to making our stay exceptional in any way. Raymond and Surya who manage the property offered us a warm welcome and ensured all our needs were catered to. Anandu, Wajid and Dinesh took care of all our dining needs and were extremely warm, considerate and thoughtful - I have to say that it truly felt like we were the only guests at the resort looking at the attention to detail and the level of care! The food was incredibly delicious, arguably some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and the level of service just knocked it out of the park! The property itself is incredibly beautiful and is meant to encourage people to unwind and relax. There are several amenities like the ability to book a houseboat or shikara that picks you up right from the rest, a variety of ayurvedic massages, and of course the pool right below the palm trees, facing the water. The property is smaller than some of the other resorts in Kumarakom, but that is part of the charm since there are fewer people and it truly allows you to disconnect, along with the service being highly personalized. If you're looking to unwind, looking for some peace and quiet, connect with nature and be spoiled with the level of service - I highly recommend Cocobay. I will definitely come again, and cannot say enough good things about this place!

Wonderful location, extremely helpful and kind owner. Beautiful Place, quiet and right next to a canal. Pleasant walks all around and into the village, and I went for an enjoyable swim in the canal, steps down from the garden

This is an oasis for a tired traveller. Cleanliness 11/10, super strong wifi, incredibly nice and helpful family. A few meters away from the beach in walking distance from the train station. Fantastic place!

The grounds were lovely. It was quiet and serene. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Happy to arrange excursions and transportation.

Beautiful property with plenty of space .

This was by far the best place we stayed at in Kerala! The entire staff was very kind and welcoming, and it is visible how well they work as a team. The service was excellent, the rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and high quality finishes and furniture, and the entire building is designed with the best taste for architecture and interior design. Congratulations and hats off to the owners! Besides the accommodation, the landscape of the garden is inviting and relaxing, having kept the original trees layout and hence the nests of all kinds of birds that enchant you with their symphony before the sunrise. We had access to the pool in the evening after our arrival and it was very relaxing. There were also some fireflies flying over our heads while swimming. Food was extraordinary! Such unusual flavours we could have never imagined...We had kingfish with curry & lemon rice & aloo gobi masala - simply delicious. We had the privilege to meet the cook herself :) We had great conversations with Joseph, the hotel manager - a kind-hearted person, and also with Ramesh, part of the staff, who was very kind to explain to us different aspects of the Indian culture. Sounds like a fairytale but it actually happened and we will definitely come back here if we get the chance!

We had such a nice stay here! The rooms and the property itself are very clean, they have filtered water available, rooms are super comfy and the owners are lovely! They were so welcoming and accommodating, they even made us some delicious chai in the evening :) thank you!

Authentic Keralian food and hospitality

Right by the beach, beautiful space to relax and no need to ever wander far, as they serve very tasty food in their restaurant! Wonderful and lovely service by all of the staff.
