We had a great stay at the Jolly Roger Riomaggiore. Daniel and his family are great hosts. The Jolly Roger is on the Railway Station side of Riomaggiore, so quieter!

Everything! The grounds were immaculately kept. The rooms were spotless. Nothing was too much trouble. Free shuttle service. Breakfast was made fresh as you ordered and fast. The views from the property and our balcony were breathtaking. Family run business who have so much pride in keeping their establishment perfect. Best B&B you can wish for. Great location, good restaurant in walking distance. Parking spot is five minute walk away and safe, not on the side of the road. Nadia, the owner, is a great and helpful. Her son Francesco speak perfect English.

If i could give an 11 I would but I will just give 10, and thats because the room we stayed in, the ac could not properly cool the whole room, so we were worried our baby would not sleep well but Thusi lent us a standing fan and it was perfect. Thusi is the most attentive, kind person, and everything about this place left us in awe. Breakfast was delicious, the decor, the bathroom was the most beautiful thing i have seen, the whole property was stunning. I am glad we had a car, it really made our lives so much easier with our toddler. Anyway, we had the most amazing time and will come back without a doubt.

Extremely courteous and accommodating staff. Gorgeous sea view from the balcony and deck. Meticulous finish and design - room 21-small but comfortable, quiet, and warm in November.

Breakfast was delicious with every option imaginable. Staff was thoughtful and attentive, options were plentiful, ranging from croissants and cake, to granola and cereal, to eggs, to yogurt and fresh fruit, to fresh juices and coffee, to freshly baked breads and cheeses and prosciutto. They even helped us make take away sandwiches for our lunch the first day with the leftovers from our breakfast. I cannot rave about the food and the service enough.

The view was magnificent! Every day waking up to the view of the mountains and the sea, surrounded by virgin nature. It didn’t feel real! The stuff was friendly and helpful!

Where do I start?! This place was amazing from the wonderful staff who were so receptive, kind and helpful to the great rooms with a great price tag. There was even breakfast provided for a great price. I was traveling for two weeks through Italy and stayed in a different place every day except when we came upon Hotel Gratzie. It was such an amazing place located in a quiet, non-touristy, beautiful part of town. The experience was so good and the location was so good that my girlfriend and I decided to stay another day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager already knew my name and immediately told us about some of the best dinner places around, sights to see, and places to visit during our stay. We were checked in within a few minutes, and we had an early check-in which they graciously allowed us. This is the only hotel in Italy that I specifically marked on google maps so that I could return on my next trip. It was one of those places where you somehow know deep down inside that you will be back in the (hopefully near) future. Thank you Hotel Gratzie for your kindness and helpfulness during our stay. You truly run a fantastic business and I hope to see you again soon!
