Everything was fantastic. The room was very well presented, lots of space and the staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Maguro was INCREDIBLY kind , drove me to the bus station (very erly) in the morning and gave me a little bag of sweets & fruits! We talked both in English and Japanese, he is a really interesting and interested person to talk to! He will be willing to make breakfast really early as well if you plan for an early start for Kumano Kodo

It was very close to the train station. The hostess also had a number of Japanese artifacts on display which were beautiful. She also provided many snack and drink options which were appreciated since we arrived late after the stores closed.

Guesthouse 京屋 provides a fitness room and free private parking, and is within a 11-minute walk of Tanabe Ogigahama Beach and 600 yards of Tokei Shrine.

Clean, with many facilities, and comfortable futons! Yuu-san, the property manager during our stay, was super kind and provided all of our needs without fuss. She picked us up from the train station, and she proactively gave us recommendations around Kii-Tanabe as well as for the hike ahead of us to Chikatsuyu. Had a wonderful experience here and recommend this property to anyone!
