Beach Hotels in Galle

The place is amazing, staff are too friendly, near to the city. Their breakfast was good. The manager even asked me if i needed any special meals for my pregnant wife.

we had a big family room. The owner tried to help us with everithing. The food was very very good, made.with attention at details.

The fascilities, location, food, everything was great, but people make all the difference, Maadhavi, Trevor, Anugi, and Yamanthika were exceptional! Thank you, and STAY AWESOME!

When we opened the door, it was a big wow. It felt as if we had stepped into a place you normally only see in your dreams. My family and I love to be surrounded by beauty. One of my daughters is an interior designer for hotels all over the world, and even she was completely speechless. The photos on Booking.com do not capture the true beauty of this place. Every detail is perfect. Normally, when our family checks in somewhere, we immediately go out to explore the surroundings. But after arriving at Olinda, we stayed the entire day. We played in the pool together, relaxed, lounged, and simply enjoyed being with each other in a place that gives you such a wonderful feeling. The food and drinks were, of course, of the same excellent quality. After a perfect night’s sleep in one of the four rooms we had booked, we decided to take a tuk-tuk tour. It was a joyful experience. Galle is a beautiful historic place, and the ancient Buddhist rock temple is truly worth visiting a very old, pure, and peaceful place. We celebrated New Year’s Eve in Galle and had a lovely time. Leaving Olinda was hard. We truly felt at home, wrapped in warmth created by the wonderful crew. They are present with open hearts and that is exactly what you feel in this house. We are very gratefull to be here on our Sri Lanka tour

very nice guesthouse with friendly staff. Good value. They added a free extra bed for our 3 years old child, that was lovely. the pool is nice too and you are 10min tuktuk drive from galle and 20min from unawatuna.

Staff is kind and helpful. Room is comfortable and the location is superb! Right in the heart of the old town. What makes this place stand out and have a 10/10 is the most wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast we've ever had. It is truly tasty and fresh. We could come back to this place simply for the breakfast itself! Thank you for a great stay.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the hotel. It is well designed and the staff was very friendly. The room & bathroom were really clean and comfortable. I also felt really safe there which is a big deal for a solo female traveler. They were even good enough to offer to keep my bags with them until I finished some work in Galle after I checked out. Really thoughtful of them! They kept my bags safe and sound until I returned later that day to collect my bags. They even returned some earrings that I had unknowingly left in my room :)

I really liked the location. It was my first time staying in a hut and i enjoyed it . The family was nice . The best part of this place is the view . The view was so so good . We really enjoyed the place .

We loved our stay here so much that we booked again for our return to Colombo stay. The staff were so lovely and enthusiastic and helpful. The villa is gorgeous, so small and intimate. Only 4 rooms so we basically had it to ourselves as it was nearing the end of season in late April. We had a free tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort and this way we met a wonderful driver who ended up being a large part of our travels and a friend for life ! We caught the train from Colombo Fort to Galle and the villa is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. . Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

The sweetest family runs this place — they made me feel right at home. The room was clean, new, and very comfortable. I got sick during my stay, and they went above and beyond, preparing home remedies, recommending doctors, and sending food to my room. Their kindness truly touched me. Plus, they have an adorable kitten and a delicious breakfast that made the stay even more special! Highly recommend..

The property is beautiful set amongst a tropical garden, away from the bustle of the beach areas and the busy localities. It is still near to the beach around 10 minutes on a Tuk Tuk to the beach and around 5 minutes to the Galle fort.the best feature of the property were its people, we were served by 3 gentlemen who took every little care of us. They cooked delicious srilankan food for us after consulting with us, not set menus, they just found out what we liked and catered us accordingly. The finest were the Bilin curry, the dried fish and the spicy beef. Everything else was excellent as well. They took great care of us, and they themselves were great company to spend the time in the evening.

Perfect stay! The Grand Apartment Suite was exceptionally comfortable and the staff were very patient and quick to accomodate to our requests. The cocktails were amazing and we loved having drinks on the hotel verandah in the evening, very picturesque. Breakfast items were yummy and the pool was very inviting.

EVERYTHING. We are so happy that our last day spent in Sri Lanka was here. The experience was a 5 star beach resort experience in a private setting. The space is beautiful! The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need including a shared space to watch TV, all access mini bar (no alcohol), coffee station and comfortable seatings. They had taken into consideration that we are muslims and have a 5 year old kid along with us. The beach is literally there at ur door steps. You can easily access it and go for a stroll or even meditate! The food 😍 breakfast was flawless! We ate SO MUCH 😂They have a set menu for breakfast which the chef adjusts based on ur requirements. They provide you with a menu in the situation you’d like to have lunch/dinner/snacks there. Also i’d like to mention how they had gone above and beyond by offering to prepare Chicken nuggets for my kid upon arrival! The best part of this space however are the staff! If I can have an Udesh home 😂 I would in a heartbeat as my life would be easier! Friendly and attentive - we felt safe and taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left.

The building - It’s truly a historical piece now available for all to enjoy. I love the iconic heritage building restored to highlight its originality. In addition, all the art decos are aligning to give this beautiful place a real “take me back” into the past. The rooms - love how spacious the rooms are. The beds were super super king size, you can easily fit a family of five in that room. Aircon and fan all throughout - very comfortable.d Bathroom - clean and spacious just the way I like, however no dental kit was provided, which didn’t faze as I have spare toothbrush always on me. Balcony - Sun lounge seating just to soak in the sun if one is wanting some heat on them Breakfast - beautiful breakfast served to your table for USD12 each. I swear the breakfast is a meal for for a king, from western to traditional Sri Lankan food, it doesn’t just stop there, followed by amazing local fruit and fruit juices. Oh! And not forgetting unlimited coffee and tea. The chef comes out to say hello and ask for reviews on his cooking whilst the waitstaff whose smile is the highlight of the breakfast table goes above and beyond. Front desk and bell services - I think I have said enough, I’m reviewing this place with a big green tick. Keep up the good job guys, I will certainly be back.

Absolutely, everything is perfect. Beautiful Japanese inspired design hotel, only a few renting rooms, a lot of privacy. Staff were extremely helpful, very polite, good manners, and very friendly. Also, hotel designs like bedrooms, kichen, and living room made us feel like at home. Amazing breakfast, they can serve whatever you wish. Highly recommended

Staff was sooooo friendly and helpful, community area had a ton of activities and unexpected amenities, there was a cute boutique at the front of the hostel that my sister and I purchased clothes from for gifts etc. These ladies were so nice and caring, helped us get rides and translate when we needed help. Room was nice and location was perfect, right around the corner was the beach, the main road was right there but it wasn't loud at night, and Galle was about a 25 min walk

Where to start. A peaceful and memorable location (not many places would have monkeys visit in the morning and peacocks on a nearby roof), a distinctive welcome and delightful staff, a small but quality menu (breakfast was delicious, also had an enjoyable relaxed dinner), a beautiful building oozing history, restfulness and care, a comfortable room (I especially liked the quiet aircon and fan which made sleeping easy). Would stay here again.

I loved everything about this place. Once we arrived, the family welcomed us with coconut juice which was a surprise. We stayed on the ground floor separate rooms. The room was big with good furnitures, bathroom was a good size with good facilities and hot water. 1 big shared kitchen between our rooms. There was a terrace and the garden view in front of our rooms which was so tranquil and pretty. I saw black monkeys on trees and a peek of a peacock already, and even a small crocodile in the swam from the terrace. There was a backyard where you can hang your laundry which was fantastic. The breakfast was amazing. The whole family were so sweet and nice to treat us, the grandfather he speaks good English, full of energy and so helpful. Location was great a short tuk ride to the Fort. There are too many good things about this place I cannot even finish. If you come to Galle please you have to come for your experience.

The location is amazing and you will get the whole Fort experience and they do serve an amazing breakfast.
