This is a 1000/10 gem place! Absolutely perfect in any sense: amazing location, high quality and clean place, 100% comfortable, the best room/toilet/shower (BEST shower I had in Sri Lanka!!!) great breakfast, amazing rooftop with swimming pool, friendly and SUPER helpful staff ❤️ - I LOVED IT ALL! I could literally live in Cielo for ever!!!

It was such a cool vibe, it is one of the best places to stay in hiriketya! The food is great and the pool is really nice, it’s on the beachfront so was perfect overall.

Excellent location. Open door basically onto the beach. Very newly done and the owners are always around and very keen to help in person or via WhatsApp. They were very accommodating and let us in our room early and allowed us a late checkout and bags to be stored. On our checkout day after late checkout time I stood on a sea urchin and went back to the accomodation for help. Even though we were well past our stay time they immediately got someone with great English on the phone who advised me to go to a hospital and they then arranged a tuktuk driver to take me there and wait the whole time. We are very grateful for their help. We actually asked to stay longer but sadly they were fully booked.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and good location.

Everything was so great at Salt. The staff, especially Charlie and Shanka were the kindest and most helpful people and Charlie‘s 7am vinyasa classes are a true energy boost in the morning. The breakfast menu only has 4 dishes but those four dishes are delicious and you can eat them every day without getting bored. Hiriketiya hay was beautiful even in the rainy season, though we unfortunately only got 2 sunny days and lots of rain otherwise (obviously to be expected during monsoon). We will definitely be back!

We liked everything in this place! The room was clean and comfortable, the location was amazing, close to the beach and all the restaurants, and still chill and quiet! The best place to stay in Hiriketiya!!! The place is new and the staff are very kind and helpful...

Amazing friendly staff, great facilities, perfect location

The staff was beyond helpful, everything was nice and clean! Location was perfect just a short walk to the beach, and the pool is peaceful and relaxing if you want a break from the beach!

Easy check in, great room and walking distance to the beach! Was a perfect little retreat, away from the the busy streets, but close enough to enjoy all the excitement of Hiriketiya!

The hotel is beautiful inside and out with spacious, modern rooms, a huge comfortable bed and great A/C. The views on to the beach and Hiriketiya bay are some of the best we saw in Sri Lanka. The staff were so attentive and being hotel guests they reserve the best dinners at the beach club part. The breakfast was amazing and we also had lunch there which was delicious and reasonably priced.

What an amazing place 😊 we had a wonderful time and a host - SriLanka family made our stay comfortable and nice. Pool is great and breakfast as well..we will definitely come back again.

Best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka and so worth the price. The room was beautiful with open windows overlooking the sea and pool, it has an outdoor bathroom and they provide you with a personal tea and coffee set. The breakfast is free, varied and delicious and they offer great yoga classes throughout the day and week.

Great location, view, and service. Ishara was great at making my family and I feel very comfortable. Check in was easy and the private pool was awesome.

Our stayed at serene villa was perfect. The rooms were spacious and really clean, beautiful swimming pool. The personal was really helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Just 2 min walking from the beach

A peaceful little bungalow with lots of space. We had two kids who enjoyed running around in the large garden and seeing a few monkeys and peahens and being close to nature. The kitchen was well equipped. We bought our own spices and rations so we were able to cook a few of our own meals. The bathrooms are spacious and well maintained. The rooms are a great size too. The living room is great to hang out and has a variety of books and games to choose from. Communication with the owner was seamless. The caretaker was efficient and very courteous.

The area was nice and quite. so close to Heriketiya beach. I recommend it

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Even though I booked a single room, both the room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious. The room also came with a large private balcony, plus there was a huge shared balcony area to relax in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was extremely convenient for my needs, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I would happily stay here again.

We loved how quiet this pocket of Hiri was - still walking distance to everything, but not as heavily foot trafficked. The family looked after us beautifully and we loved the antics of the local monkeys.

We loved staying here. This small hotel is well built and nicely furnished, very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained, and a 5 minute walk to Hiri beach. The hotel manager and his staff are great to be with; friendly, kind, and helpful. Our breakfasts were generous, and our room was large with quality towels and bedding. The bonus was a kitchen (one on each floor) for us to make coffee early in the morning.

I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

Beautiful property located a 5 minute walk to either Hiriketiya or Dikwella beach. Super easy to walk to Hiriketiya and party or surf, or if you want to chill out, walk over to Dikwella.
