The newly built Mahee Guesthouse is located 50 meters away from Nilwella beach right next to the beautifully restored Buddhist tempel and stupa of Nilwella. The owners are a local traditional singhalese fishing family. The guesthouse has all comfort like warm water shower, king size bed with mosquito net for a single person or 2 people, tailed floors and fan. Breakfast is included in the room price. Daily lunch and dinner from the menu can be ordered in the properties restaurant.Mahee guesthouse has an exeptional good singhalese cuisine with traditional home made cooking. For an additional fee the properties owner offers a fishing trip in a traditional singhalese boat as a special service. Massages and Ayurveda treatment is also available at the guesthouse. For guest staying 5 nights or longer a free of charge 30 minutes body massage is offered. Scooters can be hired at the guesthouse. Hiryketia beach is only a short 2 km walking through jungle distance away. For friends of wildlife watching a daily visit of monkeys and peacocks in the trees around the property is very possible. Come and enjoy an exceptional visit to the very untouched south part of Sri Lanka. ❤
