A wonderful resort with excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, ping pong table, and soccer goals, making it perfect for families with children. The kitesurfing spot is just a short walk away, which is a big plus for water sports lovers. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, providing a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We truly enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Hiru Beach Resort and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The resort is stunning, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and truly professional throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with great variety and quality. The rooms were especially wonderful – clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The guys were very kind and the food really good!! Everything and especially the Seafood curry. Great place to stay and chill or many activities if you want. the beach and it was really relaxing sleep with the sounds on the ocean waves. We recommend it! Also the kite school is good!

Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort - stunning beach, enormous pool with views and lovely cabanas dotted around the pool area.

Most beautiful place in Kalpitiya, wonderful location right by the lagoon, beautiful architecture, we felt like in paradise. The staff is super friendly, we loved the food in the restaurant, especially the fish dishes with fresh local fish of the day. Breakfast has good choices too. This was the 4th visit and we plan to return next year. We are kitesurfers and now that there's a boat service to cross the lagoon, included, Setha Wadi is unbeatable for us.

Everything was absolutely beautiful We couldn’t dream of a better stay to finish our 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka The property is very peaceful Well maintained and Shibi is very present making sure everything runs smoothly We ate almost every meals there and they were healthy and varied. SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Valampuri Resort. The rooms and bungalows are charmingly furnished. The bed is a good size and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Depending on the room you choose, the bathroom is attached to the bungalow. However, the high ceilings and the space between the bungalows provide plenty of privacy. The service is excellent. Aakash and his team go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Especially during a difficult time when a cyclone hit the island and the country was in a state of emergency, Aakash made me feel safe and well cared for throughout. He is very attentive, cooked for me when the staff couldn't come to the resort, and even took me to a location with cell service so I could call my family. I highly recommend the resort and its team and will definitely return.

A very charming place to stay. You enter the beach through the pine trees. The gentleman and lady who own the place are very friendly. They chatted with us well and looked after our needs. The staff are also very helpful. The food is very tasty.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The location is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and helpful with everything. We did yoga in the morning on the dock which was so beautiful. We went kayaking with their free kayaks, we hung out by the pool, they gave us a free ride across the lagoon to the bigger beach, and we ate tons of incredible food!! Everything was better than we could have imagined- it was a great weekend.

It was absolutely peaceful. Which is exactly what I was looking for. The very best best thing is the staff. They absolutely spoiled me with the most delicious Sri Lankan food I have ever had. They really wanted to take care of me like I was their favorite child. The pool is gorgeous, and again so serene. I loved the fact that their two dogs were very well cared for and completely healthy. Honestly, this is not a common thing.

The staff are the best! Specially the manager Jessie, so nice to talk to and helped us with everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also lovely. Location is amazing, if you want a very beach jungle vibe this is the place. The pool bar was probably my favourite. Oh and if you want to go to the beach you go by boat, just a couple of minutes. Almost no tourist around.

Splendid small hotel with friendly helpful staff, excellent location and superb seafood and other tasty things to eat. My 4-day stay turned into an 8 day holiday because of the scuba diving nearby and the wonderful experience at this place. I will be back.

Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional especially the gentleman who served us food and provided room service. The place is very tranquil since the property only accommodates very less number of guests compared to the space at the property. Was able to get the same amount of peace and quite as youd get at a Maldivian resort at a very minimal cost.

This is my experience in Kalpitiya. We visited many hotels in Kalpitiya. But none of them impressed us. But Capital Wind Hotel suited us well. We were surprised by the large swimming pool here. I never expected to find a swimming pool like this in Kalpitiya. You can get service from educated, clean, and quality staff here. I can recommend this hotel for your trip.

I went with my wife to De Silva Wind Resort and We were greeted by a smiling lady called Sanduni. We felt at home from the time she explained all the details professionally. We were escorted to a basic but clean room and served with welcome drinks. We were really happy and rested till evening. Dinner time,we were treated with a buffet with offering that matched the price. We awoke next day and had a hearty meal in the morning, and set about joining the kite team in the boat. Even though we did not know anything about kite surfing the team led by Sachin and Chalanka showed us how to use those equipments which were brought all the way from Europe by the owner of the kite school. We came back to the hotel in the afternoon and watch the sunset from the chill out area with a beer from the well laid bar. Next day we came back to Colombo with a stunning experience that will make us go again when the season begins in October.

Location and breakfast was Excellent. But the reaching road is difficult to recognize in google maps and the road was not suitable to small vehicles like cars.
