It was great moment to be with friends for one night and great service from staff and also reception friendly and helpful.

I liked everything about the hotel, the room was comfortable and clean with a stunning view of the ocean. The stuff were so kind and hardworkers, they treat us with respect.

This was my second time at this property. Last time, I stayed in a private pool villa. Since I traveled alone this time, I chose a standard room. The room size is quite small but still suitable for a solo traveler. I encountered an issue 15 minutes after check-in, but it was resolved quickly. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. I particularly liked my room because it faced the beach. As I mentioned, the issue I had was addressed promptly, and the key person responsible was the very professional Guest Relations Executive, Ms. Tharindi. She is welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The main reason I am giving a 10/10 rating is because of her outstanding service and quick resolution of my concern. Every morning, she checks in with guests to ensure their comfort, which I truly appreciate. Having worked in the service industry for the past 12 years, I know how important this level of care is. Ms. Tharindi, you are a valuable asset to this property. Once again, thank you for making my stay at Avani so memorable. I would also like to thank the Front Office Manager, Mr. Jayantha, and the Executive Housekeeper, Mr. Eric, who personally met with me and resolved the issue. Additionally, my gratitude goes to the room attendant who kept my room impeccably clean.

First time we stayed in one of the Anantara Hotels but definitely it will not be the last. Everything was great, all the staff were helpful and smiling. Especially thanks to Maheesha and Nimesh who helped us for early checkin and late checkouts without any extra cost.

Amazing stay at EK Breeze Kaluthara............. Had such a great time at EK Breeze! The hosts were super kind and it really felt like a warm family-run place. Loved that we could just walk to a beautiful, swimmable beach with sunshine and sunbeds perfect for chilling. Breakfast was really good and it was nice sharing meals with other in-house guests too. Everything was clean and well managed. Would totally recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed coastal stay in Sri Lanka.

Calm environment , facilities , staff, foods

This no frills small hotel is awesome. The location is the best. The on site owners are wonderful. We stayed for several days and felt like home. The owner will let you use his refrigerator to keep your beer, cokes or food cold. Great fast internet too.

Awesome ocean view, large apartments, tasty fresh breakfasts - it was different every day, very quiet place, very hospitable and friendly owner!! Children can’t swim in the ocean because of big waves, but the swimming pool was clean and very good

This is a real gem for a 'feel-at-home' stay with such a lovely family who is there for you 24/7. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was wonderful, served fresh everyday by Stanley at what ever time we wanted it. Omelette of my choice and Sri Lankan sausages followed by toast and marmalade. This was followed by a fresh fruit salad prepared by Stanley or Sisi ( Sisi is the owner). All served with a pot or two of Ceylon tea. Nothing was to much trouble for these two wonderful guys.

Room was great. Good air con and comfy beds. Tasty reasonably priced food and Very close to public transport.

Where should I start.. this place was just amazing! Very warm, welcoming hosts and staff. Beautiful big, clean rooms with great bathrooms. They thought of everything: Conditioner, Blow drier, Mosquito net, Coffee, Tea, Water, Cups, Fridge. Really great! The pool has a sunsail over it so you can stay in the pool without getting a sunburn. :) The full body massage was simply amazing too - just next to the ocean with the nice sound of the waves. It said it would be 40min, but it was longer than an hour. They made it possible to get the massage last minute. We could recommend this place to everyone 100%. Thanks a lot for the great stay! ☺️

Beautiful place by the beach run by a great couple with a pool and open air seating area for eating and relaxing. The rooms are clean and simple with a private balcony overlooking the yard and pool. It’s private, 30 second walk to the beach (one property inland), and the couple was fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at Serendiva Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. A special thank you to the front office and the reservation team. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates and forgot to inform the hotel in advance. They handled the situation with great kindness, professionalism, and understanding. They politely accepted the change and honored my booking for the next day without any hassle. Their outstanding customer service turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. The swimming pool was amazing—clean, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the tropical weather. The beach is absolutely beautiful, especially for visitors from colder countries in Europe who want to relax in the warm sunshine and enjoy the crystal-clear ocean. The food was excellent throughout our stay. We especially loved the authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry, which was full of rich flavors and absolutely delicious. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices, including a full English breakfast, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, and continental options. There was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and well prepared. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Serendiva Beach Resort to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and will definitely return in the future!
