The apartment was top-notch, exactly like the pictures and more in every way. It's close to an amazing restaurant, btw. Mr. Steve was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. He tried to help us to the maximum. I really appreciate him hosting us and will definitely book it again on my next visit.

Check-in was super easy with Jerry, and the host was always available if we needed anything. The penthouse was beautifully designed and had everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the local beach and only 10 minutes by car to Cenang. The facilities were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay again!

I loved every inch of this apartment! The view is simply amazing, and the amenities were perfect. Everything was well thought out and very comfortable. I would love to stay here again and again. Truly a wonderful experience!

Where do we begin! Our stay at the Ambong villas was truly exceptional. We stayed there for our honeymoon and it was top! The location is amazing, right in the rainforest, with a breathtaking view and endless possibilities of encountering monkeys, birds, and all types of interesting animals. The service is amazing, flawless. The team were ready to assist us at any time, with fast room service, housekeeping, and even taking any items we had to our villa so we wouldn’t carry anything. They have a golf cart service that takes you up to your villa smoothly until late night. They greeted us with a quick massage and tea, and even offered decoration and cake for our honeymoon. The team is really incredible; always smiling, very hospitable, neat, friendly, and always giving us recommendations. The rooms were modern, clean, with a smart Tv and all apps. The ambience and vibes at the Villa Temoyong were really amazing with the infinity pool and the view and it is the most private. To sum up, this villa is highlyyy recommended!!! Make sure you visit!

Unique experience to sleep in middle of the forest with wildlife (e.g. monkeys) around you all the time. Not a big hotel chain but small scale apartments at walking distance from the beach

The children love the swimming pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. The team shows proficiency and passion during our stay. It is indeed a paradise for families and children to relax and recharge the energy.

Lovely property, with access to pantai tengah beach. The breakfast spread was good, the rooms were neat. The pool is huge with a jacuzzi and there is access to a beverages counter to enjoy drinks from. The spa and other activities they offer really tie in a perfect vacation stay. Definitely recommended for a visit with family or friends. Really good value for money.

Staying at Camar Resort Langkawi is best suited for travelers who want a tranquil beachfront escape with modern comforts. It’s perfect for couples and families who value space, poolside leisure, and a quieter atmosphere, but less ideal if you’re seeking vibrant nightlife or extensive dining options.

The family that runs runs it is really friendly and caring, they made sure I had everything I needed. The place is house-like which I appreciate more than the usual hotel with hallways and elevators.

A magnificent villa attached to The RIYAZ Lavanya hotel. The villa is enormous, with air conditioning throughout, and has its own 14-metre private pool — perfect if you want to swim laps. Guests can also use the hotel’s 22-metre rooftop pool. You also have access to the 24-hour gym and sauna. The villa/hotel is located at Pantai Tengah, which in my opinion is much prettier and less hectic than Pantai Cenang to the north. There are also around 30 restaurants within a short walk of the villa. Staff are available if you need anything, including cleaning or general assistance. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

I really like this hotel. I stayed in a family room with two friends. We spent 4 days in Langkawi, and for almost 2 and a half days, it was raining, so we stayed in the hotel to rest. We also enjoyed having drinks and chatting at the small table outside our room in the evenings. If you're looking for a relaxing trip, you can consider choosing this hotel. The hotel owner and the bar owner are both very friendly.

Breakfast was as we expected for the local area. The location was close to the beach and nice restaurants across the street in walking distance with great food. The host was also so great and gave us suggestions for local attractions and rental car.

10 minutes walk to the beach. Several good restaurants nearby. The apartment is big and clean. With the full kitchen utensils, it is comfortable to stay for longer time. Some wild animals around the house and it is interesting.

I wasn’t a fan of the dorm rooms accommodating up to 16 people, especially since that detail wasn’t mentioned when I booked—it felt overcrowded. Luckily, there weren’t many people during my stay. Also, the entrance to the location, called ‘Tandoori House Cenang Hill’ or just ‘Cenang Hill,’ requires about an 9-minute walk in complete darkness at night unless you have a car or scooter, which makes it much easier. That said, the Langkawi staff were very friendly, and the location and sea were absolutely beautiful.”

the view from the room was great, the salty pool was phenomenal , one of the best hotels if not the best

Check-in was easy, they allowed us to leave our bags, pool was fantastic, and the beach is literally right down a little path. There’s a shower that you can rinse off at right before the path starts, the pool is very enjoyable. We liked our room, spacious bathroom, amenities were good, and AC worked great. Would return 10000%.
