Spacious, nice lunch menu, centrally located, comfortable bed.

Highly recommended. Our room was large and spacious. Would have loved to tried out the environmental cottages, but our stay was for only one night. The restaurant was awesome and would recommend…even if you’re not staying there.

The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable! The breakfast was copious. The hotel is located a short bike ride from the center of town A locked covered storage was provided for our bikes. We enjoyed afternoon drinks on the terrace outside the restaurant. All in all a very pleasant stay..

The Torenhoeve is a great place away from the busy city in the middle of what some call "One of the most beautiful nature area's of the Netherlands". The light tower "Westerlicht" is one of the main attractions, the hotel grounds gives a great view of the tower. Furthermore there is opportunity for hiking and the forest and dunes. The beach is a 5 - 10 minute walk away from the Hotel

Rooms are very big. They are also reasonably modern and they are kept in good shape. Bathrooms have even a bathtub. The hotel restaurant is really nice. Internet was easy to use. Ample parking. Late check-in via neighboring hotel from the same chain possible (on request).

I really enjoyed my stay. The bathtub was a particular highlight; it was spacious and very relaxing, adding an extra touch of comfort to the room. The room itself was cozy and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were good and well-maintained, making it convenient to use them during my visit. The hotel was clean throughout, which made the environment feel welcoming and pleasant. The staff was friendly and approachable, always greeting guests with a smile. While many of the staff members are young and relatively inexperienced, it’s clear they are eager to help and do their best to ensure guests have a positive experience. Their enthusiasm and willingness to assist made a noticeable difference in the overall hospitality.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming, and our room was beautiful having been refurbed very recently. We were able to dine the hotel restaurant easily which had a great selection of food/drinks. A really central spot and quiet bar the local church bells :)

Relatively close to the seaside and far from urban noise and traffic...

Henny was a wonderful, friendly, English-speaking hostess. She responded quickly and flexibly to multiple messages we sent about our arrival time, which helped our planning. She also arranged dinner reservations with a special deal that we (unable to read Dutch) couldn't have accessed. And she described and provided brochures for her area's varied recreational opportunities. Delicious European-style breakfasts - cold cuts, a variety of rolls, hard or soft-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruits, etc - served at the time we selected. We used the kitchen's microwave, fridge, and kettle on our own. We didn't make use of the comfy-looking living room or garden.

Friendly staff and guests. High quality standard everywhere: rooms, food, bar, pool, wellness facilities… Close proximity to the beach is a clear advantage.
