The seperate driveway, the peaceful, beautiful scenery, the cleanliness, the ease of letting ourselves in. It felt like our own place. Can park within a metre of the deck. Great communication and so easy to connect to hosts.

Extremely friendly welcome. They were chatty in a good way and answered questions. Lovely swimming pool which was just right after a hot day travelling in the car.

Located in the center of Kaitaia Town, Kauri Lodge Motel is across the Kaitaia Information Center, and a 10-minute drive from the Kaitaia Airport.

This is my second time staying here. Every time I visit Ninety Mile Beach, I have to stay at this place. It’s very close to the beach, and you can also go to Cape Reinga Lighthouse to watch the sunset. I absolutely love this place — I’ve been here three or four times already. This is our second stay at this hotel, and we’re very happy. The rooms come in a variety of options. For example, some units have two bedrooms with up to six beds, which is perfect for a group of six adults. That’s really great.

Perfect place. very clean & tidy. They provide all the necessary items. Plus groceries are very close to the place. Highly recommended.

Our family apartment was adequate for five of us. Wayfarer Motel is centrally located to within walking distance to shops in town, and a short drive to the grocery store. It's also on the main route north to Cape Reinga and west to Ahipara. The pool was crystal clear and a pleasure to cool off after a day at the beach. We didn't manage to make use of the spa but used the laundry regularly.

Mokorau Apartments - The Mukies is a recently renovated apartment in Ahipara near Shipwreck Bay Beach.

Stunning location, excellent accommodations, excellent communication. Everything you need in the kitchen, bath and lounge. Spectacular views of the ocean!!! Can't ask for a better spot!

Everything! Our host was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The guest house was immaculately clean in all aspects. The kitchen facility was well stocked with everything necessary and the large outside dining table was perfect for dining and socializing with other guests at the same time. We would definitely stay again. And the sound of the surf at night was a welcome bonus!!
