What a beautiful villa! Everything was perfect. I'm going to book again next time in Siargao! The host, Nico, is an absolute gem. He made sure everything was perfect, arranged the motorbike rental and taxi to airport. The location is great. Just outside the main area so when you get home all your hear is nature at night and only see bright stars. But if you want to go out, its less than 5 mins by motorbike or hired tricycle. Do not hesitate to book!

I like that the General’s Hideout is quiet and peaceful. It’s also very friendly for digital nomads, with fast and reliable Wi-Fi.

The room is big and well equipped. The staffs are very nice and approachable. We had a comfortable stay at sing Siargao.

The villa was gorgeous and spacious. The grounds of the property are beautiful and well maintained. It was right on the sea. Amazing!

The resort is in a great location. Approximately 40 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown General Luna. We loved how we were greeted with fresh buko (coconuts) when we arrived to the resort. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a living space and bedroom with two comfortable beds. Our view from our balcony was stunning! We had the garden, pool and ocean view! My most favorite part! Having breakfast at the resort every morning was convenient and delicious. My favorite was the eggplant omelette (torta). We enjoyed our stay at Retreat Sairgao Resort and will definitely stay here again!

I love that it is in front of the beach, you have a private time alone. Not too crowded. The rooms are perfect for 2 people. The staffs are great and very helpful. We booked a motorcycle & tuktuk moving out to our next hotel.

Hospitable staff, they communicate well and attends to every need/questions. I would like to thank Lolita and Mika for their services. The villa itself was beautifully built. Interior had elements that worked well together. Very therapeutic view and feeling altogether. A retreat I would say after days of tours and activities. Also, they’ve provided us other services (laundry, tricycle rides) for a cheaper rate. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with my sister. The experience was healing and nourishing. We felt safe and cared for thru out our stay. Thank you very much.

Such a cute and thoughtfully designed Airbnb!! We absolutely loved our stay. The decor, furniture and layout were incredibly creative and well considered and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a huge bonus and the staff were so friendly and welcoming :) We would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!

Large and beautiful rooms. Good location away from the noisy Luna grande but still not far. Extremely nice staff. There is a nice beach in front with kids and families. Very cool and relaxing atmosphere. You feel at home.

Perfectly, idyllic location, complete with shared pool and full beachfront access. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate, often providing things to improve the experience without being asked (bringing breakfast to the room, setting dinner up on the beach). The views were beautiful, being able to see the ocean from our bed!! The dogs on site and cute & friendly, the reception staff made everything simple: bike rental, laundry, baggage hold - everything was no problem :)

The host met us at the drive and escorted us to our room. He was very kind and helpful, reached out a few times over the course of our stay to check about cleaning room, etc. If you need to rent a scooter, he partners with a local business that will deliver the scooter (and it was there in about 30 minutes after we arrived, and potentially could be waiting on you if you reach out ahead of time) The property is quiet (the property does border a property with construction, but it was not an issue) The property does have beach access, but to me the real GEM about the property is that is was just far enough from town center to be quiet and not have a lot of road noise, but very close and also very close to Goat Beach by scooter (Goats in the morning, sunsets in the evening, so check it out!) The host also had a very wells stocked fridge with beverages for purchase which was a nice touch. There were several good places to eat, but if you do like Filipino food, check out Nanay Elsies. It became our goto. I didn't see too many foreign faces when there, so I think caters more to a local crowd, but was very good for breakfast and dinner.

An Unexpected Gem! I recently stayed at Hangloose Hostel, and it completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it easy to converse with fellow travelers. The facilities were top-notch—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I loved the cozy common areas where I could relax or meet new friends. One of the highlights of my stay was the diverse group of people I met. It felt like a little community, and I left with not just memories but also new friends from around the world. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a home away from home, with cool people and amazing staff, look no further than Hangloose Hostel. I can’t wait to return! Special shout out to Ate Rose for taking care of us and our bunk bed, she made sure everything was clean and that we were comfortable enough, and to Kuya Joel for making sure we were all safe and letting us make use of the kitchen. Thanks to you two, it made our stay more memorable and fun
