I never imagined someone could treat their work with so much passion. Everyone I met along the trail kept hyping this place up, and honestly, it truly is the best stop on the Fisherman’s Trail. The owner is one of the warmest, most caring people I’ve met (I was doing the trail in 2026 febr during the big storms and he would call me and text me continuously if all was OK and if I need help, really got the my heart) it was an absolute pleasure to stay here, and I ended up recommending it to everyone along the way.

The self check-in went smoothly, it was very clean and comfortable inside. WiFi was working well (it was important for me to connect to a lesson the next day). Nice location. There was a refrigerator in the room (may be important for the hikers).

This place is one-in-a-million. I had heard and read about it a couple of years ago on a trip down through the Alentejo coast, and drove by it. But, actually being there, seeing the place, and spending the evening with fellow travellers and our host, wow.

This was a very beautiful place. It’s very clean and has all the amenities needed for your stay. The bed was very comfortable. Our hostess was very friendly and insured we had everything we needed. We just regret we couldn’t stay longer.

Loved the Location out in the country, although within 10 minutes driving time from Zambujeira. So quiet and peaceful. Very small place. The rooms are all at ground level with a little patio in front. Beds are heavenly - very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom, excellent water pressure. Also has an electric towel rack. Electric water kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast is included and is plentiful and excellent. Very friendly staff. Hope to come back one day.
