Beach Hotels in Thong Sala

They have renovated the rooms and space. Everything looks new and fresh! Small details like plug point near the bed and hooks to put clothes on has been provided. Room had everything for backpacker couple. Bathroom is spacious and very well equipped. Beach is right there and restaurant & bar has amazing staff and prices! They seemd to have evrything! We were wondering how was it possible to have this accommodation at this price! Totally worth the stay! Sometimes the host in house parties and events as well!

Great place. Get a bungalow close to the sea. You open the door make 10 steps and you hit the sand. The full moon party is not close ( if you are going for it ). The rooms have an AC, big bathroom and the cleaning service is on point. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There’s a bar and a restaurant in the venue. You can rent a scouter from the garage next to the hotel (15 meters away from the main entrance of the hotel).

This place is honestly one of the best stays I’ve had. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff were amazing very kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. It actually felt like the owners themselves were taking care of the guests because of how warm and personal the service was. They pay attention to every little detail and always make sure you feel comfortable. The bed was super soft and comfortable, probably one of the best parts of the stay for me. I slept so well here. And the air conditioning was unbelievably cold seriously perfect, especially after being outside in the heat all day. Everything felt cozy, relaxing, and well taken care of. You can really tell they care about their guests and want everyone to have a good experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service and a very friendly atmosphere. Definitely would come back again

The location and the vibe of the place is amazing. Very close to the best of the restaurants, cafes and Ferry point.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. As a solo traveler I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The place is so beautiful and has a really good energy. Beautiful sunset, nice people, comfortable hammock:) I would definitely go there again.

Surprisingly enough, I thought the food was exceptional for a resort. The staff was very informative and nice. The owner is also very attentive and will make her way around to the guests. Beautiful view from the restaurant area.

unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. During check-in, I was already informed there would be significant noise and that I might be able to change rooms the following day. That alone should have been a warning sign. The noise from the Full Moon Party was unbelievably loud throughout the entire night, with heavy bass making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the room had openings that could not be properly closed, so there were constantly mosquitoes and flying insects inside the room. I woke up covered in bites and extremely uncomfortable. I ended up checking out early at 10 AM because the conditions were simply not manageable for me. What was also frustrating was that the next morning the noise issue was minimized, despite the fact it had already been acknowledged during check-in. The property itself may look nice in photos, but if rest, comfort, and sleep are important to you, I would strongly recommend being very careful before booking here.

I loved my stay at Propaganda. I chose to stay there as soon as I arrived in Koh Phangan because it is relatively close to the pier and within walking distance. I ended up extending my stay and returning several times during the month. The hostel is super clean, the beds are comfortable, with sockets and spotlights in the beds, and there are common areas where I could work peacefully in silence. The staff who work there are super friendly and I also had great communication with the owner via WhatsApp. It is not a party hostel and not very sociable either, but I personally liked it and recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. What made the experience truly special was the hospitality of the owner—she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. I accidentally forgot my bag when checking out, and she thoughtfully arranged for one of the staff members to bring it to me at the pier, knowing I was departing from there. That level of care and consideration is rare and truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for a memorable and worry-free stay!

Right in the middle of the island, not far from one of the piers where the boat from Koh Samui gets. Room was very nice and spacious (we got a beach view one) which was right in front of the swimming pool and beach. Couldn’t ask for more! Another super plus is the girl at reception. She is super professional, honest and always with a smile in her face. Would def come back!!

I liked that the apartment was large, spacious and very cozy, with a wide sofa and high ceilings, and the guy who welcomed me was very, very nice to me and let me stay a few hours beyond the time I had to check out.

I'd like to express a special THANK YOU to the reception staff Kenny. He's polite, helpful and most of all, caring. I had skin rash in my leg due to allergy. He took a note and went out to get me a moisture cream that evening without me asking for it. That warmed my heart. Thank you, Kenny.

We stayed in a really good double room, it was spotless and impeccably clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, proper height and window aside with view over nice big tree. Well working hot water, well working air conditioned, well working electric plugs, well working wi-fi. Restaurant downstairs is animated and lively and however rooms upstairs are very quiet and well isolated. Towels and utilities provided. Amazing staff that welcomely greet you every time. An absolute perfect stay! Thanks! Lastly, there is an absolute lovely cat at this place who seems to love sneaking inside guests rooms to enjoy being pet and freshness of air conditioned haha! Be aware not to lock it in when leaving the room! We love this cutie purring guest!

Splendid Location, quiet area, you will swim in the pool and having the breakfast in front of the sea. Room are classic Thai style, spacious, and clean. This is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the island (you can rent a motorbike at the hotel and you are good to go pretty everywhere). The best part of our staying actually was the staff: really kind, professional and keen to help all the guests. The hotel manager is golden.
