I had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at this hotel. The location right on the beach was absolutely beautiful and made my vacation even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The customer service was excellent, and I truly felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my experience so special. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Absolutely everything was great! I've stayed at several resorts in Zanzibar and so far this is the nicest place for the price under $100/night. Which is within my budget & I received a discount also.

Located at the best part of Paje beach. Quiet surroundings full of palms and tropical plants. The hotel feels like a hidden oasis. I especially appreciated the private garden and peaceful mornings.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Alexandra with the biggest smile, instantly making us feel at home. She was so warm and kind, and that energy carried through the entire staff—every single person we encountered was amazing. What really stood out was the presence of the owners, personally walking around, chatting with guests, and making sure everyone was happy and cared for. That level of attention gave the whole stay such a special and personal touch. The location and hotel itself are absolutely stunning—a true little piece of heaven. The design is beautiful, the facilities are top tier, and everything feels thought-out to perfection. And the food? Simply incredible! So fresh, high-end, and absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the Carbonara—it was outstanding. We stayed for five magical days, and leaving was truly bittersweet. But one thing is for sure: we will definitely be back! If you’re considering where to stay in Paje, do yourself a favor and book Lujo—you won’t regret it.

Paje by Night was our absolute favourite during our travels around Zanzibar. The accommodation not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every way. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, equipped with comfortable leisure furniture, a pool, and various sports activities. The restaurant served excellent food, and the staff were particularly warm and welcoming. The beach is only a three-minute walk from the accommodation, which was very convenient. One of the main reasons we chose this place was the availability of yoga classes. As a semi-professional yogi, I was initially slightly concerned about the level of the classes, but I’m happy to say that my experience fully met my expectations. Three classes are offered daily, with great variety and quality.

Excellent location and beautiful room. Quiet, only a short walk to the beach and set in a gorgeous tropical garden. Best breakfast we had in Zanzibar and friendly and helpful staff.

The vibes were really simple, clean, pleasant to be there. Small property but such a diverse place! Malon, Josie and Lu were the kindest, friendliest people I’ve met in a hotel.

I spent a week in this amazing villa , I was amazed by the style of its rooms, and its location which is near to everything there . The stuff are amazing and very nice . Big thanks to Zeineb who is managing the villa so professionally, and Fatima who never misses smiling when serving breakfast 🥰 i will surely go back to this place

Nice sea view and with a comfortable bed by the pool and a restaurant that offers everything right next the pool, you can spend the whole day relaxing at this hotel!

The Hotel has a very good location, and beautiful Garden, the moment you enter the Hotel you feel yourself in a different zone in Zanzibar! They serve a daily breakfast with different options, their team attendance was supper friendly and professional all the time.

Cool, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms. Lovely well maintained grounds and pool. Very attractive public and beach area, well serviced, good music, and with very friendly kind staff. The food was fantastic - best on the beach!

As soon as I walked through the gate, I knew I chose the right place. My room was a hut with an outdoor shower that made the stay feel more unique and island like. The owners and the staff make it very comfortable and enjoyable for all their guests who stay. Happy Hour is pretty damn good too!!

Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff did their best to satisfy our requests. The management and staff went our of their way to make sure our needs were attended to. One of our members became unwell and they called the doctor/ambulance/hospital for assistance.

The place is very-well done including all the details - it feels like paradise on Earth. Also all the staff were very nice and accommodating!

The staff was helpful, especially dir. Rehama was finding good solutions for me. The pool was wonderful. The room had an air-conditioned and safety deposit box, mosquito net over the bed. The room is good size. Hotel is next to the beach. Beautiful way to put your towel to welcome you.

I stayed here for a short, quick trip, but the place was amazing. It is only a 3–4 minute walk to the beach, which allowed me to go out early in the morning and run along the beach. The breakfast was excellent—there were limited options, but they were more than enough to start the day. The rooftop bar area was fantastic, with great music, and it closes between 10:00 p.m. and midnight. The staff were amazing, very friendly, and entertaining, making the stay even more enjoyable.
