Very large, comfortable room. More of an apartment than a room. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff. You can request a pick up and drop off to and from the airport and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this option as the hotel is an incredibly circuitous route from the airport

I booked literally last minute, due to an issue with an apartment I had rented. I arrived ten minutes after booking online, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I asked if I could leave my bags until check-in time, but instead, they immediately got me settled into a room. The room was spacious, and had huge windows, so it was very bright. The bed was comfy, and there was a little table w perfect for working online. The internet was strong and stable as well. its located very close to the airport, it was very quiet at night, and I slept like a rock. The location also allows you to walk anywhere in the city. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks again to the wonderful staff!
We actually stayed at Hotel Blue Sapphire for six nights. The lobby and our room were beautiful, the staff very welcoming and provided above and beyond what could be expected. We loved their restaurant.
Very new looking and clean Hotel / Bedroom. The mattress and pillows SUPER COMFORT, and trust me, I'm extremely picky about that... shower working well, good pressure, and hot water if needed.
A/C unit working perfectly and quickly 👌🏼

Dar es salaama is agreat place, my favourite place is salad for food, and the food there is great, Dar es salaam is not an easy place to move around. there are many actives depends with what you want.

Feels safe walking around during the day.
Feels safe walking around during the day. Not a whole lot to see but the fish markets are interesting. I did get harassed a LOT by men asking my name and where I’m from and trying to walk with me all the time. That was tiring begging to be left alone because I never want to be rude about it. I was dressed modestly, per local custom. In any event, I felt safe, even tho the following got tiring very quickly. You can probably move on after half a day, like I say, not much to see but if you have an early flight from DAR the next morning, it’s worth staying the night so you don’t have to rush to or from Zanzibar
