Grand old mansion with super friendly staff. Sea view in great location. Comfortable clean bed. Super value for food with hearty portions n the full scottish breakfast.
Value for money is 10/10.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel in this lovely seaside resort.

The apartment was really modern and so tastefully decorated throughout. Magical touches that enhanced the seaside theme. The view from the two large windows with beautiful french style shutters was phenomenal. It made u feel u were looking out of a luxury ocean liner. I can't recommend this apartment enough. Great place to stay if wanting to discover all the lovely villages on the north east coast. Great chip shop, chinese take away, convenience store and local bar, 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Just a gem!

The apartment is situated with spectacular views of the ocean on one side, we saw seals, dolphins and numerous sea birds, and on the other side a small fishing harbour. There is plenty of parking available under the property and long stretches of beach are only a short walk away

Quaint apartment just north of Stonehaven. Very nice host who went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Comfortable beds and very clean accommodations. Came with yogurt, juice, fresh bread and marmalade as well as tea and coffee. The huge bonus here is the beach. What a treasure! A short hike from the apartment and you’re on a mystical, craggy-cliffed private beach. Absolutely stunning! My kids even braved the North Sea for a quick dip.

Nice Emma:) gave us the key to a comfortable and pleasant house in a quiet place, located in a spectacular place near the seaside.. Emma took care of everything,.. nothing was missing.. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and fragrant., it was really nice.. thank you :)

The hotel was in the perfect location, right next to the beach. There was lots of parking right next to the hotel which was a bonus. The room was cosy and clean. I was especially happy with breakfast as it had multiple vegetarian options for myself and tasted delicious. The woman who checked us in and served our breakfast was very friendly and made our stay even better. I will definitely be back if I ever find myself in the area around Stone haven again.

One-night weekend trip to Stonehaven from Glasgow. The Ship Inn is located in the old harbour, arguably the best location in town with nice seaside view and cosy surrondings. We had a pleasant and quiet room for the night (great value!), and a delicious meal in the pub/restaurant of the Ship Inn. Stonehaven is well worth a visit, and not only for the castle!
