It was our last night in the fjordland area before traveling to Queenstown and ending our 2 weeks in New Zealand. We wanted to be in a remote southern location and the Cliffs was a perfect choice. The views and location to the sea was exactly what we wanted. Be sure to visit the beach nearby. Our hosts were friendly, informative and very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed meeting them very much. We have great memories of the Cliffs.

The new suites were gorgeous, modern and more than comfortable. Views of the lake, soundproof, and just luxurious. One of the best places I've ever stayed.

We loved everything about this place, especially the fact that exclusive use of a little car to run around in while you stay at Evening Cove was included in the tariff. We were welcomed at the ferry terminal by Lionel on our arrival, and later met Cassandra, they are the most delightful hosts you could wish for. The accommodation was perfect, every box was ticked for us.

The location was great. Just across the road to the beach. There wasn't any breakfast provided but we managed just fine as we had taken some supplies with us.

Very lovely and cozy place. The host was very nice and friendly, had a little trouble in opening the key lock and fortunately she was available on site. The room was very clean and comfortable, kitchen amenities were available, shower was great. Got a room that faces the ocean, had a lovely morning.
