The new suites were gorgeous, modern and more than comfortable. Views of the lake, soundproof, and just luxurious. One of the best places I've ever stayed.

Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town center, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms.

Very clean and quiet. There was parking available. The beds were sturdy and had privacy curtains. Lots of room to store goods next to the bed and also the drawers beneath the beds were pretty large (big enough to fit a carry-on luggage in). There was an extra kitchen in the building where we stayed. The heater to the lounge was on in the mornings which was a great touch considering the cold outside. The bbq area was pretty big and there was a clothing line outside.

Featuring free WiFi, this motel is located less than 5 minutes’ walk from tranquil Lake Te Anau and the Fiordland World Heritage National Park.

Even though staff were not available due to staff shortages they made sure we had all the information required in easily accessible form.

Located in Manapouri, 13 miles from Te Anau Glow Worm Caves, Possum Lodge provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities.
