We liked everything. Location is so quiet with everything you need: there are bus station, New World and other stores, some good places to eat. The spectacular mountains are so close, so beautiful. The property is so comfortable and cozy, nice and clean. The staff is amazing! So friendly and helpful. They helped us with some trip planning and valuable information. And big thanks for the mountain view and late check-out🥹❤️ Would definitely stay again.

We loved how easy it was to check in, that there was a parking and that the washing machine was big. The description sent on where to find the parking made it easy to find. The bed was very comfortable, the pull out couch was too (but not as comfortable as the bed). There are a lot of restaurants hereby (walking distance)

The staff was very communicative and helpful, both over chat and intercom. We arrived late and left early, and they were very helpful making sure we could still check in and out. The room was very comfortable with a good shower, nice bed and kitchenette. We would have gladly stayed longer if time had allowed.

We booked three rooms for our family group and stayed in a King Deluxe Lakeview room. The room was lovely and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchenette and an exceptionally comfortable bed.
The view of the lake was absolutely magnificent.

Comfortable place to stay if you don’t mind the ongoing construction at the place. Wifi was a bit spotty at times but all good in the end. Staff were very helpful and accomadating when a piece of luggage was missing after arriving from Bali.

My Check in was at 9pm (because of my late flight). The receptionist was at the front desk and check in needed 2 minutes. Hotel is near the city centre (at most 10 min on foot) but the bus stop is directly in-front of the hotel (same bus you can get from/to the airport). The staff gave me recommendations for day trips/activities and restaurants. I left my keys at the front desk (I was gone the whole day) and picked it up at the end of the day (there was always someone at the reception desk). Bed was very comfy. No noise - very quiet. Bathroom was clean, water gets hot fast. 5/5 from me.

Queenstown is a place to explore.
Queenstown is a place to explore. You have Arrowtown with amazing shopping and eateries, you have Ayrburn with beautiful gardens and a waterfall and eateries that have mouth watering food. We were lucky enough to get a booking at Billys.
The frisbee golf in the gardens is the best we have ever played.
I love the shotover, its a thrill seeker.
The wineries

We did the boat crusie on the Earnslaw over to Walters Peak, thats I reccomend.
And lets not forget the Skiing, Remarkables, Coronet night skiing, Cardrona and Treble cone.
We also did the gondola ride and luge, I don't think there is a better view in New Zealand than at the top of the Gondola.
Kingpin was heaps of fun we loved the escape rooms.

We loved the Homestead above Arrowtown!
We loved the Homestead above Arrowtown! Rustic but warmed by the fireplace and woodburning stove. Plenty of wood. Quiet, peaceful and insane views of Arrowtown, Coronet Peak, and other mountains. PERFECT for our family of four. We played games. Made breakfast. Read books. Relaxed in solitude but proximity to fun town stuff. They provided a welcome bottle of wine and treats. Kitchen had espresso machine. Highly recommend it.

I think there are to many knockers who criticize Queenstown unfairly. For me Queenstown is my happy place where I love to wind down, walk the wonderful tracks out to Kelvin Heights or the opposite direction along the Kawarau river. I lived in Queenstown for 4 years and when it had a population of 4000, now 20,000 plus so understandably it has growing pains but take that aside it is one of the most beautiful places with so many great out door activities restaurants vineyards etc. to enjoy.

Being in the middle of Winter, it was expected to be cold and damp. Yet there was plenty to do. People were relaxing after a day skiing on the slopes. Walking the tracks, going to the shops, cafe and restaurants. We went to the Stables, and also the Post Restaurant. The museum was open. We had a vehicle, yet there was regular bus nearby that people were using. The Supermarket was close too.

Great for adventure and unique experiences.
Great for adventure and unique experiences. It is high-cost and busy in winter, but it offers plenty of options and stunning scenery. The ski fields are good, but buses can get booked out at peak times, and hiring gear can take a while on the mountain. Consider transport and accommodation options carefully, including that there are some steep hills, etc. The public bus is challenging as you need to get a Bee card, add credit, assign it to the number of people using it (with the bus driver) and tag on/off.

Lovely little historic town with good range of shops, bars, restaurants and activities in town and nearby. Safe area with plenty of walks, well sign-posted. Bendix Stables on green served good variety of beer with a happy hour. Fork and Tap also good. The Dishery served excellent breakfast in garden and Provisions' breakfast also good. Post Masters House excellent food. Chinese Village and Old Police Box had good exhibits. Good path along river, easily accessible for gold panning. Rifters gin tasting - owner very informative and welcoming.

Surprisingly, the hotel was very quiet despite being so near Queenstown Airport. And although tucked away in the back and close to the Remarkables mountain range, Frankton town area was easily reached by car; and Queenstown was just a short drive away.
