I stayed at the Spot Hostel while walking the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect stay. Most of the rooms are private, but in the common areas you get to relax with other pilgrims. Fão, where the Hostel is located is a charming village and has restaurants if you don’t want to use the kitchen at the hostel.

Casa Fragosa - Alojamento local provides beachfront accommodations in Póvoa de Varzim. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.

Ana's dad was taking care of the fireplace long into the evening to keep us warm, and it was more than enough to feel & sleep comfortably. Her mom took really good care in keeping the place clean, neat and tidy. The bed came with a clean & spotless mattress, and most importantly, it was bed bugs free, which is a rare privilege for camino accommodation. A large supermarket with warm fresh bread is a 3 min walk away. The kitchen comes 100% equipped. The place itself is an amazing sunset spotting site. After reviewing some overly dramatic reviews from precious guests, my stay was nothing but a very positive surprise.

Venceslau Boutique is located in the heart of Vila do Conde. Completely renovated, this accomodation is a 10-minute walk from the beach and 328 feet from the Metro station.
