IsraelThe room was big and comfortable, had all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean (enough to walk barefoot around the house). The kitchen was the best part: all the equipment you need for cooking/baking and a bunch of basics (salt, butter, eggs etc.) We stayed for 2 days and each day we had a cake the owner baked for the guests!

PortugalThe apartment is newly renovated and is both attractive and comfortable. It is on a side street only a few steps to the beach. The main living space is large and nicely furnished with a sectional sofa and a large dining table. The outside patio is also also large with a table for 4, two lounging chairs, and a clothes drying rack. There is only a small view of the beach from the apartment and the deck. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new Bosch appliances including an induction cooktop (hob), full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and a washing machine with a drying function. There is very little counter space. We had to use the cooktop as a prep area. There are plenty of pots and pans and almost any kitchen gadget you would need. There are no cooking basics like oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Plan to bring these with your food if you want to cook. There's a small store less than 100m away if you need something.
The apartment is entirely air conditioned, something that was very welcome during an unusually hot few days during our stay. The AC in one of the rooms was not working. We notified the owner who was very responsive and had a service person there promptly. The problem did not affect our stay.
We had a great stay and were very happy. Vila Praia de Âncora had some wonderful restaurants and the fish was excellent. The beach is large and beautiful. It wraps around and away from the esplanade. Even in August, by walking a few more meters we had space to ourselves. The beachfront apartment was a great place to stay. We would gladly stay there if we return to Vila Praia de Âncora.

We loved staying here. The view is stunning and we're glad we stayed two nights. The street below wasn't louder than the waves from the ocean so we slept well. We had fun walking around the village and spending time on the beach. The apartment is very cosy and we'd stay here again.

My friend and I stayed at this place as a stop for our Camino walk. It was all very good. I can’t say anything bad about it. The hosts were very nice. The house was very nice and tidy, and it felt like home. The beds were also so comfortable. There was a balcony, where my friend and I watched the sunset after a visit on the beach and a nice shower. There is a 5-minute walk to the nearest supermarket, which was very nice. To our surprise, the hosts had baked a very delicious cake for us in the morning. We can’t recommend this place enough 😊

Amazing location, right on the beach front with fantastic services and very friendly staff. Had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend staying here. It was a real treat find this place existed while on the Camino.
I had a private room and it was very spacious. The shower and kitchen was spotless. Very good value for money too 😃

This hotel is right on the beach. You have spectacular sea and beach views from the sea view rooms. Our room was very large with a sort of living space. There is a lift to your room. The village is gorgeous, food excellent and drink v cheap.
