Great view from our room on the 20th floor.
Apparently the marina directly opposite the hotel is from where the SS Minnow departed in Gilligan's Island.

The Moana Surfrider is a superb and historical place to stay, not to mention its perfect location to beachfront and everything else. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

100% perfect location. Right across Waikiki beach. Perfekt view from the balcony, too. And Congratulations to the interior designer, we loved the colors and underwater motives.
The free reusable waterbottle is a nice idea and a lovely souvenir.
Room and bathroom are small, but hey, who spends time in the room in Waikiki?
Highly recommend for a easy going beach vacation.

The location was spectacular. It is at the end of the tourist area of Waikiki, with an amazing view of a Diamond Head
volcano crater from the level 10 outdoor lounge. You can also watch sunsets over the ocean from there. The room we had on level 7 was spacious and clean. The beach was across the road. Plenty of food stores and restaurants are around if you want to be lazy. Around the block is the $5 all-day bus stop that takes you around Waikiki and to the main shopping plaza. We also had a nice view of the city and the mountain range.

We loved the view and also how close the apartment was to everything. Most of the tours would pick us up here.
Being right on the beach we had a wonderful swimming time at Waikiki Beach. We could relax or we could do things. People were very friendly. Found a great Uber driver who was friendly. The apartment was well fitted out but there was no washing machine as was advertised.

Char’s place is amazing by any account! The localisation is breathtaking, the view from balcony directly to the ocean is something you can’t get enough of and the apartment is delightfully decorated, with all the necessary amenities (and much more).
The private pool is also pretty cool, but when you got sort of a private beach by the ocean, you don’t even use the pool that much. Also the neighbours are very nice and helpful.
West Oahu is simply beautiful.
