B&Bs in Bad Gastein

Breakfast was delicious with a variety of offering. Location was good- near nice walking paths and bus service. Room was comfortable.

Pleasant Hotel to stay while we explored this area Salzburg.

Friendly family staff and a nice building, very local feel, and easy to walk to from the train with access to the town and the valley. Nice place with a toddler and dog, and very good price. Breakfast was standard and enjoyable in the dining room.

The location was exceptional and on the top of a mountain. The food was great. I loved the quirky rooms. The pool/pond was beautiful.

Amazing stay at an amazing place! A wonderful cozy room with gorgeous view of the mountains and the town, very comfy bed. Wonderful clean tap water! I was also given a small kettle and a cup, so I could make my own tea in my room. Very friendly and helpful owner Frau Bader, lovely breakfast. Location is perfect, near the thermal baths, cable car and the train station. My room was always cleaned while I was at breakfast. Frau Bader was in the breakfast room during breakfast hours, offered to make soft-boiled eggs (absolutely recommend), made coffee and tea for guests and offered extra bread, made friendly small talk and gladly gave hiking tips. Overall, the atmosphere was very homely, warm and welcoming. When it rained, you could take one of the umbrellas downstairs when going out. There were multiple brochures on the activities in Bad Gastein, and also if you come by train, you will be given a Mobility card which allows you to travel within Salzburg region. Also as I was checking out and it was raining, and I had a suitcase and no car, Frau Bader very kindly offered to drive me to the train station although I definitely wouldn't dream of asking for it, and it was during breakfast hours. I was deeply touched by such a kind gesture and very grateful! It was my birthday during my stay and it was honestly one of the best ones I've ever had.

We very much liked the talkative host with a lovely accent, the location, the cosyness of the bed, the breakfast, the balcony and the special toilet roll.

Wonderful clean dinning room. Breakfast is your typical Austrian style breakfast, egg, cheeses, breads, cereals and fruit. All fresh, very tasty.
