My stay at Esterer was absolutely wonderful. The room was spotless and cozy, and the location couldn’t have been more beautiful. Waking up to the mountains every morning was such a treat! I really appreciated how close it was to the bus stop, just a short walk and an easy ride into Salzburg. It was the best of both worlds: peaceful and quiet on the outskirts, yet close enough to explore the city anytime. The owners were so kind and accommodating, even letting me leave my luggage before check-in, which made things so much easier. The area felt very safe and I often came back after dark and always felt comfortable walking from the bus stop. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a more personal, welcoming experience instead of a big hotel. I already can’t wait to come back someday!

The hotel is gorgeous, has a lot of history and the host was really friendly and could provide a lot of information about the local area. Quite close to Salzburg and the Eagle's Nest, if you have a car, and easy to park on site. Good breakfast, food and bar.

Great family-run hotel and restaurant. Very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Food is excellent with local ingredients and seasonal fare. Free public transportation in the entire state included!

Everything. We travelled by public transport, but the location is also convenient. Easy access to the old town. We enjoy stayed here.

Our experience here was truly enchanting, thanks to the thoughtful and inspiring hostess, Sarah. Little did we know we would be staying with a family immersed in the soul of music. Upon returning from our day’s adventures, we were treated to beautiful music her son would play in the evening as he practiced on one of the many pianos throughout the floor. And, in a heartwarming unexpected gesture, after a wonderful conversation about the family’s musical journey, Sarah gifted me a beginner piano book, revealing that it wasn't just any book but a piece of her family's musical legacy. It had played a role in introducing her sons to the world of piano. Our stay at Sarah’s was not only enriched by the musical legacy but also, by the charming details of the room. The spacious yet cozy ambiance provided a perfect retreat with a nice view of the river. The thoughtful touches, including freshly baked cookies, a Nespresso coffee machine, a fruit bowl and toiletries in the bathroom, added a delightful layer to our experience. To amplify these amenities, the room was equipped with a Bose system, creating an atmosphere that resonated with the musical theme of our hostess's family. The combination of comfort, thoughtful amenities, and attention to detail in the room complemented the overall warmth and hospitality of our stay. We had a fantastic stay at CitySuites Salzburg! The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — perfect for our time in the city. Communication with Yongwei was always smooth and friendly; was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout, and really made us feel welcome. Overall, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service. Would absolutely recommend CitySuites to anyone visiting Salzburg, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Good location, enough space to park free and unbothered. The room smelled

One word: Amazing! Alex makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive, apart from being super friendly =) The place is really nice, the rooms and facilities are great, breakfast has everything you think of and Alex makes the best eggs, whatever way you like them. The location is great also, away from the craziness of town, but easily reached by bus or a nice walk (or by bike if you wish). Nice little touchs everywhere, definitely one of the best B&B's I have stayed at.

Shower, comfortable bed, spacious room, outstanding breakfast and Lucija was so kind and gracious.

The host at Pension Katrin is awesome. Helpful, welcoming, and provided help with transportation and just basic getting around the area. The breakfasts where excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
