Breakfast was very good. I think all homemade food. The eating area was so warm and inviting. This is a family owned business. The ladies were very attentive to all of the guests. The whole hotel was decorated warmly with family items accrued over the years. It also was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. We thought it was great that when we arrived late the key was hanging on the hook for us to go to our room.

Very nice staff, clean room and bathroom. Very good breakfast, parking right in front of the pension. Everything was great. Thank you!

Breakfast was ok not many choices but nice to have. We were not informed where it was so we only found it after a couple days. We only ate once.

The house was well equipped. Great location. And most importantly, a very nice host who obviously enjoys what she does. She was kind and thoughtful—gave us random pastries, encouraged us to use the steam room, and folded our blankets in various playful shapes daily. There are heated ski boot dryers so your boots are nice and warm on the next ski day. The town was quaint and cute. It is 30-min drive to Samnaun gondola which goes to Ischgl. You can also take the bus for free if the road is snowy and you don’t feel like driving. We’re definitely coming back to Haus Schuchter next time we ski here

Wow. Just… wow. This "3-star" hotel? More like 5-stars-plus-plus! Seriously, someone needs to call the rating agency and fix this mistake. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty—scratch that—like family royalty. The customer service here? Unreal. Everyone knew our names, and this was our first stay! It was like staying at Cheers, where everybody knows your name, but with way better views and no Norm hogging the bar. Speaking of food, let’s give a standing ovation to the chef. Roast beef and sauerkraut? Heavenly. Sauces? Mind-blowing. And that chocolate cake topped with ice cream? STOP IT! I’d come back for that alone. Chef, you’re officially the MVP. Then there’s the restaurant setup—personalized tables with room numbers? Fancy, right? It made dining feel exclusive and stress-free. The spa? Oh, let me tell you about the spa. Hot tub, sauna, steam room, AND ultraviolet therapy? I walked out of there feeling like a whole new person. And the room? It wasn’t just a room—it was a mini-cabin of cozy luxury with breathtaking views. It was so astonishing, I almost didn’t want to leave… until I remembered the free shuttle that takes you everywhere. Town, slopes, back to town—you name it, they’ve got you covered. And can we talk about Frita? She’s the heart and soul of this place. Frita went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. If she ever leaves, this hotel loses at least one star, guaranteed. Final verdict: Best. Hotel. In. Austria. We’ll be back, no question. Just don’t raise the prices—we love you, but we’re not millionaires (yet)! P.S. If you’re reading this and you don’t book this hotel, you’re seriously missing out.

Anni and Hannes were very welcoming hosts. Our room with private bath and balcony was tastefully appointed and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable, and the WiFi was strong. The breakfast included fresh rolls, a variety of spreads, cheeses, cold cuts, boiled eggs, fruits, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee, and more. We visited in late summer and absolutely loved the area; incl. hiking to the Dreilaenderstein and around Reschensee. We hope to come back sometime, in the summer for addl. hikes or winter for skiing.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with updated rooms and bathrooms, an excellent restaurant and an amazing breakfast in the middle of Nauders (its Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are located). It is close to absolutely everything with plenty of parking in the back.
