United StatesOur stay was absolutely wonderful! The personnel were amazing—extremely supportive, fun, and always willing to help. Ronaldo, the manager, went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. For example, he helped my girlfriend surprise me for my birthday with balloons and flowers, both in the room and during breakfast—a truly thoughtful touch.
We also forgot our wallet and passport, and Ronaldo immediately arranged to have them sent back to us, which was incredibly reassuring.
The location is perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet, surrounded by colorful scenery. There’s even a small waterfall just a 3-minute walk away, and the water used in the hotel comes from the waterfall and is filtered—a system that seems common on the island, which we found fascinating.
You’ll need a car to get around, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The room was spacious, the staff incredibly sweet, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was fantastic, especially if you have a sweet tooth! The lobby also had stable Wi-Fi, which was a plus.

The house is stunning, as is the garden. In my opinion, the pictures don't do it justice. It is in a quiet location with a beautiful view, and I would recommend renting a car to go about the island. Amazing host, delicious breakfast, great tips about what to do and where to go. Our baby (6 months old) was the star of the house and it was very handy to have access to the kitchen to warm up her food. We do not speak Portuguese and it never was a problem (offline/online translator is a great help).

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The room was big with working AC. Breakfast area was pleasant, serving a few Brazilian cakes and fruits.
Swimming pool was great, amazing sunset view. We used to get to the pool in the afternoon, after being on the beach/ boat tour.
Closest beach Perequê is great for kids, great facilities, with kiosks by the beach serving drinks and food.
We would definitely stay at Pousada Perequê again!
