Chalet L’Epicéa was a great stay for us because it offers breathtaking views, a cozy and spacious interior, and amenities that catered to all our needs. It is located close to hiking trails and in a peacefully neighborhood. The host was incredibly welcoming and served a delicious breakfast where we were fortunate to taste her home made jams and delicious honey. We felt right at home. Highly recommended for families seeking a memorable alpine retreat.

Even before I had my accident, where I broke my collarbone, this was a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful house and garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Near the railway station (not noisy.) Good Italian restaurant just 8 minute's walk. When I experienced an unfortunate accident, Gunther and his wife Maria drove 60 minutes up and down a local mountain to recover my bicycle and car. They also took me to the hospital and collected me afterward. For the next two days they looked after me as I needed - and even cooked me evening meals. Gunther and Maria are exceedingly kind people, and I was very lucky to choose this place to stay.

Very beautiful establishment! The room was very cozy and comfortable. We had a nice meal for lunch and the breakfast was very good. Everyone was super nice and friendly.

Breathtaking views of the mountains, very quiet and clean. Breakfast was exceptional!!! Love the crazy talking parrots!
