We were there to take the Bernina Express. An easy walk to the train station so location gets a 10+. We were able to park our car in front of the house. As far as the room itself. Very clean and large and comfortable. Temperature of the room is self regulated. The kitchen/living room area is shared on the bottom floor and there are 4 bedrooms on the upper levels. I would stay there again for convenience and value and comfort.

The two women who run this hotel are incredible and essentially saved my trip. After eating pizza down the street, I got severe food poisoning. I was so sick and traveling alone, and I couldn't get up and felt so embarrassed because I threw up in the shower and toilet. These women were incredibly kind; they cleaned up the bathroom, gave me a bucket, put my hair in a tie, and brought me a bunch of water. They checked on me every two hours to make sure I was okay, and the host even told me not to worry about checking out on time. I decided to book two more nights with them because they were so great, and I was actually able to go to the Olympic Games the next day. On my last night, the buses from the games were running late, and I was worried about missing the last train to Milan. The host brought my suitcase down several sets of stairs for me so I could immediately grab it and run to the station. I just can't say enough good things about this place and the women who run it. I am so thankful for both of them. - Victoria
