Since I arrived after 20:30 I expected to have trouble getting in (based on other reviews that said the reception closes early), but they had waited for me, which was very nice. The room was a good size and even had a mini fridge, which is the first time I’ve seen this in a Gasthaus after 2,5 years of living in Germany. Everything was sparkling clean and the bathroom was very modern and looked like it had been recently remodeled.

This property is easy to walk to from the train station and is in a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the old town. Esi has a passion for people and her city and is an excellent host. We hope to stay here again one day!
