The room was big, nicely furnished including seating, a mini fridge, beautiful armoir, and we absolutely loved the little electric fireplace! The breakfast staff were very professional and attentive and the dining room was decorated so nicely!

Florian, the property manager met me with enthusiasm and immediately gave me a little tour and a quick history of the building while he walked me to my room. I was traveling with both my dogs and he was gracious and accommodating to our needs. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a room that was simple and clean with modern facilities and surprisingly great shower pressure. The history of the building is quite humbling and is well set up for leisure stays, company gathering, and special celebrations with wider corridors and an elevator to the first floor if accessibility is needed. There is parking at the property and beautiful church garden across the street for a peaceful evening walk. The property is about an 8 minute walk from the Teufelsmauer trail head, make sure you leave enough time to stop by Marienhof for a sweet treat. I see a lot of reviews upset about the breakfast, it was no frills but good in its simplicity.
