Overall, it's a great hotel. It's 2-3 minutes from the Aral gas station and McDonald's.
The entire hotel is decorated in bright colours and is very modern. As is common in many European hotels, there was no fridge, electric kettle or coffee maker.
The room has a modern air conditioning unit with wall controls. Finally, an air conditioner that is really quiet and allows you to sleep undisturbed.
Breakfast was excellent, and guests could eat it outside on the terrace, where there is also a small fountain and a quiet min-robot lawnmower.
It's easy to get to from the motorway — there's no need to wander around town looking for it.
It's one of the few hotels in the vicinity of large cities where you don't need an Umweltzone Plakette for your car. Later, we got one from DEKRA anyway, so we wouldn't have to look for a hotel to stay at for a few hours in the future.
They also have free parking spaces.

Spirit Lodge Leipzig is truly a hidden gem. Although I never met the staff in person, our communication was excellent from beginning to end. Everything was handled quickly, smoothly, and professionally, and I always felt well taken care of.
I have stayed in many hostels over the years and have had some good experiences, but Spirit Lodge Leipzig is in a class of its own. It is spacious, spotlessly clean, peaceful, and has everything a guest could possibly need. It is clear that great care has been taken to make guests feel comfortable. On top of that, it is incredibly affordable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Spirit Lodge Leipzig to anyone visiting Leipzig. Thank you for three unforgettable nights—I truly enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return. 😊❤️🙏

We stayed 1 night traveling through.
We stayed 1 night traveling through. We had two rooms for 2 adults plus 3 children. Very good location close to hoghway. Good price-quality offer. It was possible to check in late, good communication beforehand via telephone. The rooms were small but cosy and they had everything we needed: beds, own toilet and shower, enough blankets and towels. We were satisfied.

The churches and old city center were beautiful. 3 hours...
The churches and old city center were beautiful. 3 hours really is all you need for Leipzig, so not really a place where one needs to spend the night. And nothing else spectacular is close by. Halle, 30 minutes away is cute (we have a friend that lives there, the reason we came) but an hour is all you need to see Halle, if that. Better to spend your time in Nuremburg or Dresden areas and day trip out of those areas unless you have another reason to be here.

It is worth to visit Leipzig, to explore history in the city...
It is worth to visit Leipzig, to explore history in the city center and near outskirts. It was city with lot of changes during centuries. City museum is excellent place to find out that, bit also churches in the town. Good to visit place where was the battle with Napoleon army, what we did by hop on hop off bus tour.
