I recently stayed at the wonderful Pension Katrapona in Getaria. I was with two friends in a room with three beds. I’ve travelled a lot with these friends and very often a room for three is just a double room with an extra bed crammed in. But at the Katrapona we had a huge, bright room with lots of space for our suitcases. The room and bed were very comfortable and a great breakfast was served in the morning which invcluded fresh tortilla and bizcocho made by Itxaso, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The Katrapona is in a beautiful old building that has been lovingly renovated right down by the harbour in Getaria. We very much enjoyed our two night stay in this gorgeous place. I would really recommend it if you are travelling in this lovely area.

This hotel is located in the attractive Plaza de la Música and just a short stroll from the the longest beach in the Basque Country.

Eibarooms enjoys a location in Éibar, 23 miles from Sanctuary of Arantzazu and 28 miles from Catedral de Santiago.
