Everything about this place was great. The breakfasts were the best food in 3 weeks traveling India. If only they served dinner. The pool was always a refreshing end to the day. Vishnu and the cooks always had a smile, ready to help in any way. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. 10 minute walk to Lighthouse Beach.

Mundabad house is a gem -- a property with definite historical charm and everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. The room was spacious, quiet and with an exquisite bed and lovely big bathroom. The host was superb. He went out of his way to accommodate my much delayed arrival. All excellent, including the traditional Kerala breakfast. I would stay there again any time.

It is one of the best properties to stay in Trivandrum. The property’s owner Dr. Praveen is VERY CARING and helps in everyway to make your stay comfortable. Property’s care taker Mr.Akhilesh (has a bit of difficulty with english/hindi) is also very good and helps you to get things done. I would STRONGLY suggest that you arrange for your own transport or you can depend on Dr. Praveen to arrange the transport for you BEFORE you reach this place. Although they offer ayurvedic massage (though not sure if you are charged for this separately), we didn’t have time to get one. The breakfast was just unbelievable. Dr. Praveen would have arranged for lunch and dinner as well but as I mentioned earlier, we had a very hectic trip and didnt have time to have lunch/dinner at the property. All in all, we were happy and fully enjoyed our stay at Sanskriti.
