I love this neighborhood. It is extremely cute, and there are families and kids walking to and from school. The houses are pretty, and the greenery and communal gardens are great. The bedroom itself was nice, and the shared kitchen was good too.

The hosts were exceptionally kind to us with our language barrier. You are staying in a room within the host’s house with their super cute chihuahua, very comfortable and easy to find. The location was right next to a major spa and a 7/11, right next to a bus stop. If you’re looking for a good-value stay in Saitama, this is the right spot. Also the hosts own a shop down the road, so if you like thrifting, this is a great spot!! We found some great items there.

Absolutely charming! The guesthouse is well furnished and decorated from head to toe in Studio Ghibli memorabilia. The owner and staff are very friendly; they were patient with any misunderstandings that come from being a non-native Japanese speaker. We played a couple rounds of Super Street Fighter 2 on Super Famicom! Also, Kuku is a very well behaved dog; such a gentleman!

Location is great, short walk if take the Limousine Bus from Haneda to Sunshine City Terminal. Short walk to west Ikebukuro and Sunshine city. My wife left her gold ring during our stay and the host kindly kept it for week until we had time to pick it up.

This property has an amazing and tranquil atmosphere. It has a traditional Japanese house aesthetic with a beautiful garden, full of history but modernized. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable too! There’s slippers, towels, Yukatas provided for the guests. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and there was so many interesting things we talked about over breakfast. I definitely loved the special homemade orange marmalade that was part of breakfast. This space is ideal for couples or small families who want a peaceful and quiet place to stay in.
