The manga library was so big!!! They have almost all of One Piece and some Ghibli stuff as well. The hosts were so gracious and made it feel like home for the night. The food was amazing and more than enough to give me energy for a long hike. ALSO they sell really cool t shirts, I definitely recommend buying one!!

I would definitely recommend this place. Beautiful location. The renovated farm house was super clean and the bathroom facilities are very modern. Tatami rooms were spacious and we had a good nights sleep. Heaters and AC throughout the house. Great space to BBQ outside. Owner is very helpful. Will come back any day!! Think this place will be magical in the winter.

It is a beautiful Japanese style house. The staff was very helpful. There is a big kitchen where you can cook by yourself, they have the pots and other utensils that you would need. Also, towel is provided by the hotel.

The owners of this guest house are hilarious! All of them are older, and my friend said she felt like she was at her grandparents. One speaks English and his stories kept us engaged and laughing. As for the house, don’t expect anything fancy, just a clean room/bedding to rest for the night. Our room opened two ways, one to the kitchen/social space and the other to the carport where our car was. Made it easy to bring in our luggage and repack.

Beautiful stay in the middle of mountains, rivers and greenery. The family running this stay are very nice people and the dogs were very cute and friendly, like to get pets all the time. The outdoor and indoor baths, English garden, freshly cooked breakfast and dinner were spectacular( the croissants and pot pie are their specialties). If you are into outdoor activities then the Canyons Minakami is within 1.5 km. We would love to stay here again.
