We got a lot of rooms in the upper floor, including a Bedroom, a Tatami relaxing room and a room where we could eat breakfast! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it too! The Yubatake is just a quick hop away and there is lots of Restaurants close by. Our hosts were a very friendly couple with a dog who also live in the house. They speak amazing English!

Both Wifi and private parking are available at Tonegun - House - Vacation STAY 17719 free of charge. The guest house includes 1 bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge.

The manga library was so big!!! They have almost all of One Piece and some Ghibli stuff as well. The hosts were so gracious and made it feel like home for the night. The food was amazing and more than enough to give me energy for a long hike. ALSO they sell really cool t shirts, I definitely recommend buying one!!

I would definitely recommend this place. Beautiful location. The renovated farm house was super clean and the bathroom facilities are very modern. Tatami rooms were spacious and we had a good nights sleep. Heaters and AC throughout the house. Great space to BBQ outside. Owner is very helpful. Will come back any day!! Think this place will be magical in the winter.

While the rooms are sparse w amenities, as indicated in the photos, it was a lot more cozy than the pictures look! Additionally, the shared space on the first floor are some much nicer and they’re not shown in the pictures; those pictures must be old. There’s a whole cozy kotatsu space that’s decorated and homey, and a whole dining room space to use too. It does not feel old or dreary (as the pictures look to me ngl); it is so much more established than the photos look!! Our room for 3 was perfect and they provided the most thick and warm futons I’ve experienced having lived in Japan for a few years now. There were extra blankets and even electric blankets available (the heater was weak). It was super warm under our blankets even without the heater on.

Featuring a garden, pension ぽかぽか（poka poka） features accommodations in Tone. A hot tub is available for guests. There's a sun terrace and guests can access free Wifi and free private parking.

Lovely location and staff, when I explained that I am vegetarian but I can eat rice, vegetables, egg, and tofu the land lady cooked me a delicious vegan meal!

Kusatsu KOTODAMA is a Japanese-style guest house that is located just a 4-minute walk away from Kustatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. The property is also a 10-minute walk from Yubatake hot springs field.
