Located close to Lake Hibara and within 10-15min of drive to the Nekoma and Grandeco ski resorts and a slightly longer 20-25min drive to Inawashiro, the lake and ski resort. Very welcoming and friendly owner - and his curious Riesenschnautzer! Shared family bath and very cozy wooden rooms!

It's a lovely place, run by people who care. The food was excellent. Each meal was different for 3 nights, then repeats. Not sure if the bath was actual hot spring water, but it was constantly running. If it is, it's cool in that a couple could get in the bath together - and be private. The shower space is spacious.

Exceptionally beautiful and homey space, with a convenient parking space right in front of the house. Enjoyed hotpot dinner at home after getting ingredients from the large supermarket at the next block.

I had a wonderful time staying here, the elder couple who operates this place were very kind and took great care of me. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The accommodation can be easily reached from the station by bus or walking. It is very convenient to get to many tourist attractions around the city by taking the Akabe and Haikarasan buses from the nearby bus stop. There are also convenient stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a coin laundry not too far away.
