The location is really wonderful . Everything was fine. The owner is so caring. The staff is super friendly. The owner got me everything I needed.So I Would gladly recommend this place beyond hesitation.

Wonderful and quiet place close to Hikkaduwa and Galle, with beautiful private beach 1min walk. Lovely family taking care of the place, great staff. Nice, clean and quite big area for guests to enjoy the stay. AC in rooms helps with hot weather. We will be back for sure.

Nimal's homestay in village of Dodanduwa. A great getaway for us & a chance to enjoy village life by staying with a local family. Nimal & Chani are great hosts, friendly & involving, but also give you plenty of space. We enjoyed various trips around the area with Nimal (whale watching, snake farm, there's plenty to see) & also enjoyed exploring on our own (you can go canoeing around the nearby lagoon, or catch waves at a nearby beach that had decent surf). The food, cooked by Chani & Nimal, was fantastic & plentiful, many different spices & curries, and a lot of local seafood. The rooms are clean, cool, safe, and the outdoor balcony great for playing cards, people-watching, eating, drinking beer etc Also great for watching local birdlife. Galle is not far away, and is a fun place to visit for shopping (Manjari - one stop shop!). There's also a talented tailor in the village who made some clothes for us.

Great location close to the railway station and fort. Amazing host who helped us with lots of information and provided impeccable service. He helped us to rent a scooter and arranged tuktuk for us early morning to go to the station. He made us feel like family with all the care and guidance. And the breakfast was mouth watering plus they arranged it as per our convenience. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.

As soon as I arrived, I thought to myself WOW ! this was more than I expected ! what a wonderful place and everything was perfect. The hosts are so accommodating and helpful. The scenery was amazing and although I did not swim in the sea, I could see others having a wonderful time in the warm waters. The bonus for me is I am a dog lover and to have 4 well behaved and trained German shepherds at the property was just the icing on the cake. Food was lovely - to just sit by the sea having your breakfast made it more pleasurable than could be expected. And you get plenty of choice too. They also do a evening meal if you wish. Freshly cooked and delicious.

It was clearly well-maintained, sparkling clean, and provided a refreshing oasis. You could tell a lot of care went into keeping it in top condition, making it a genuinely enjoyable space to relax. However, what truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every interaction was met with kindness and a genuine willingness to help, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. This level of attentiveness made a significant difference. Ultimately, the stay felt like excellent value for money. Considering the spacious and well-equipped room, the pristine pool, and the outstanding service, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. It's a well-rounded experience that's definitely worth the investment.

I was travelling with my mother, and we reached pretty late in the night as we were coming in from Kandy. The host and staff were two extremely kind and courteous men, receiving us with a pleasant smile and greetings. The host speaks good English and makes it easy to communicate. The property is sort of a villa with the individual rooms rented out. The room had spacious bathroom, the lobby inside the villa + the sit out on the beach front, with the beach chairs, and the hammock, amazingly relaxing and snapshotworthy. The air conditioning was perfect. It's easy to find the place, it's right on the road, and owing to the budget provided compared to the surrounding beachfront stays, it is a steal deal. My mother was literally surprised by the sit-out and close proximity to the beach. We delayed our checkout and had fun in the beach. I didn't have the opportunity to eat the breakfast. But the host gave us a quick and nice sendoff. To anyone looking for a two person budget beachfront stay, with plan for local exploring and turn over for a sleep only, this is the perfect stay.

The location was good. The food was good. Everything was at a decent price. Can recommend
