The gardens were a beautiful quiet respite from the busy city center. A lovely place to stay and staff very kind and helpful. The pool was lovely and nice to relax. The room was comfortable.

We stayed here as a stop over in Kandy before travelling to Ella and we were really pleasantly surprised. The host was a lovely guy and really helped us out with organising tuk tuks etc and even cooked up a nice meal for us in the evening. We stayed in the top floor room which had a great view from the bathroom out across the upper hills of Kandy.

The location was perfect. The place was very clean and well-maintained. We felt completely safe during our stay, both in the property and the surrounding area.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful & stunning property ! Truly magical stay! Amazing pool, stunning art & flowers combined with some traditional architectural touches. Also comes with the added bonus of the cutest dog & kitten siblings!

Highly recommend this hotel, they offer top level service. All staff super friendly and helpful, always with a smile and lots of positive energy 😇 room was very comfortable, clean bathroom, no problem with hot water. The view from balcony is just amazing, the location definitely worth it. Outside the room you can make a tea or take the water for free. You can also have a tasty breakfast or dinner with the same view in their dining area. Big thanks to the chef Sanjana for advices and new food experiences 🤌🏻 All in all perfect ☺️

What a welcoming and generous host! The view was outstanding, the food portions were huge and delicious, and we felt right at home.

We were glad to stay in Stellar Inn in Peradeniya instead of Kandy. (Kandy is only 7 km away) Peradeniya is not touristy at all and we actually like it that way better. We got to experience a more authentic Sri Lankan town. The hotel is new, modern and very clean. The room size is large. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the AC works great. There is a kettle, cups, tea and coffee and water in the room. The Royal Botanical Garden is within walking distance and we thouroughly enjoyed it! Initially we planned on staying here 1 night but because we liked it so much we stayed 2 nights. The staff and manager were very helpful and accomodated our special requests. After we left the hotel and were well on our way to another town, the manager called, informing us that we forgot our Apple tablet in the room! He then promptly worked on having it sent to us via a reputable courier Domex. We received the tablet the following morning! The courier cost was only 1000 LKR. Kay’s Den is such a beautiful and peaceful place, surrounded by paddy fields and greenery. The house is really spacious, with multiple floors, balconies, plenty of seating areas, and both front and back gardens. We had the entire place to ourselves, which gave us great privacy and made the stay even better. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, so cooking was easy..We even ended up baking. We loved cycling through the fields on the free bicycles, such a thoughtful touch. The neighborhood is very calm, and the Sri Lankan’s biggest river, the Mahaweli, was just a short walk away, which made the stay super relaxing. Honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was always available and very helpful throughout our stay.

I stayed at Varsity Lodge and had a pleasant experience overall. Despite a very late check-in and an early checkout due to some personal incidents, the owner was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Me and my family stayed in two air-con rooms for two nights, and I must say that the rooms were spotless, with the bathrooms, beds, and air conditioning all in excellent condition. It was a comfortable stay.

Liked Everything♥️ This is my second time staying here, and it was as amazing as always. I don't have enough words to describe the kindness and incredible hospitality I received. The owner was like a friend and a sister to me, truly like a family member. 10 stars⭐🎖️, straight up! ❤️
