A Hidden Gem of Authentic Moroccan Hospitality! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful riad, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a serene oasis filled with the charm and warmth of traditional Moroccan culture. The riad's architecture is stunning, with intricate tile work, vibrant colors, and traditional Moroccan craftsmanship that exudes authenticity. The central restaurant, with its tranquil fountain and lush greenery, provided the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace, where I could take in breathtaking views of the city Tanger. The fresh orange juice, homemade pastries,fresh mint tea,arabica espresso's, and variety of other Moroccan delicacies were a delightful way to start the day. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan furnishings. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the ornate lamps to the handwoven rugs. The comfortable beds and luxurious linens made for a restful night's sleep, and the air was filled with the subtle scent of rosewater. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants and even organized a private tour of the medina and other places for me. Their genuine hospitality and kindness made me feel like a cherished guest and a part of the family . Overall, this riad is a perfect blend of authenticity, comfort, and hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the true essence of Morocco in the city of Tangier I can't wait to return! Pro tip: For all the public parkings nearby in Tangier Tip the car parking staff beforehand for an extra eye on your car. Be generous with the local people and this city will treat you well.

The Dar Tanger Medina hotel is a great place to stay if you want an authentic Moroccan experience. Located in the twisting lanes of the Medina. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The 2 tiered roof top terrace gives a great view of the old Medina.

A newly opened accommodation, so everything is pretty new. very close to everything in the old city. Clean and organised. The owner is very helpful, and easy to communicate with. The Riad has 3 medium sizes double rooms

Riad Ider is vibrantly decorated in a casual but beautiful kind of way. We had a large room decorated in shades of red with interesting antiques and books on Morroco waiting to be looked at. Breakfast was predictable but good and the common table provided a wonderful opportunity to meet other guests. The hosting family were lovely.

The rooftop was beautiful. The room was practical. The bathroom was the best one we had in Morocco. The staff was so kind and helpful. Amazing vibes.

I had already left an extremely detailed review, and Booking emptied my form fields after I submitted, so now I get to try it again. Comfort: double bed perfect for a solo traveler or two adults who like to be cozy. They provided a very warm comforter, which was needed and appreciated since I was there in late November. The rooms are very cute and well appointed, and my room had a cute view of the alley below. Private bathroom in every room. Communal area on the third floor and kitchen/dining area on the top, as well as rooftop terrace with great views! Staff: AMAZING. Maryam, one of the housekeepers, was so attentive and kind! I miss her already. Driss, the owner, is very welcoming and hilarious. I felt at ease immediately upon my arrival, and it's because of the amazing service. Location: set in the heart of the ancient medina, it's only about a 3 minute walk uphill to the closest street (car drop-off). My driver helped me find the riad when I first arrived, but it didn't take long for me to gain familiarity with the area and I was confident when walking around even that first night. The kasbah is only a 10min walk away, and the city beach is also very close, albeit down a steep hill (there are stairs). Lots of shops and restaurants extremely close. Amenities: breakfast every day was very good! I had crepes and harcha (semolina bread) plus fixins like butter, cheese, jam, and honey, as well as olives. On my last morning, Driss had cumin eggs prepared for me. Delicious! Coffee, tea, and fresh af orange juice. The wifi is okay, weak in my room but stronger in the communal areas.

The guy in reception (Morad) is a kind person, the living rooms are clean and smell good.
