Absolutely fantastic experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Travelling with young children can be a challenge but with the help and hospitality we experienced it made the whole thing so much easier. Even when it came down to nursing a sick child we were provided with the relevant medicine by staff. They went above and beyond to make this a great experience for us.

The restaurants we tried were excellent, similar prices to Spain. Yves st laurent’s gardens definitely worth a visit, a choice of 3 restaurants, we chose the international restaurant, food excellent, slightly spoilt by what had been a charming waiter asking for a tip, saying they didn’t have change and that the 10% service charge wasn’t for him. The manager sorted out the change and apologised. You have to have a fair degree of fitness to negotiate the hills and the awful pavements and roads. Driving is extremely hazardous, on occasion scary!

The hotel is a little bit far from Tangier Citycentre this is the biggest down point to it because every day if you’re trying to go to visit Tangier you have to drive one hour to go one hour to come and it’s very far tiring drive if you decide to stay inside the hotel the restaurants is so expensive they will be very difficult for you and your family to pay for such a bad food a lot of

We found some lovely restaurants, the food was excellent. Yves st Laurent gardens were gorgeous, there was a choice of 3 restaurants, we went to the international one, had a lovely view of the bay and a very welcome breeze was an added bonus. Beware that apparently you need to pay by credit card as they didn’t have any change (?) but when we asked for the manager he managed to find the correct change! You need a good level of fitness in Tangier, the pavements and roads can be lethal if you’re not looking down all the time and there are plenty of steep hills hard to negotiate in the heat. NoNo restaurant on the front is highly recommended but it is expensive.

I already went to the hotel with my colleagues for a conference, and I liked the venue so much that I wanted to take my kids there, too. The place is large and very welcoming. The view of the pool, gardens and sea is really breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast is really good and the service is excellent. There are two little things I did not expect, which disturbed me a little but would not change my positive opinion of the place. First, during the check-in, I was asked to add a further amount than what was proposed on my booking, as a deposit for any extra service I may ask for. Because I wasn't ready for that, I didn't have the full amount on me, so that was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. I had to sit in the lounge and figure out a way to have the missing amount transferred to my bank account. On the check-out, I was told that they'd return the deposit amount to my account, which hasn't happened yet, so I'll have to wait and see. I would have appreciated knowing about this procedure here on booking.com to avoid the unpleasant surprise on the spot. The second thing was a small leak in the toilet. I would have appreciated some sort of a mop or cleaning towel ready and available in the bathroom, meanwhile the leak gets fixed, so that I would manage the leak before it built up and avoid having to ask or wait for the hotel cleaner to show up. Having said this, I'm still very happy with my stay at the hotel, rank it 10, would definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends. Thank you!

Tangier is vibrant, alive, and carries a touch of mystery. Its history is fascinating, its landscapes are breathtaking, and the openness of the city and its people make it truly unique. I left feeling inspired, with a strong desire to return. There is something very special about this place. And beyond its beauty, Tangier feels extremely safe and welcoming.
