"This was an absolutely fascinating city. The Medina is authentic, speaking to its colorful history and the people within the Medina were so helpful. We got lost more than once and absolutely had an amazing time. We even managed to find the tannery, which is only used by nine families now. This will probably be one of our favorite places that we will have visited during our month-long stay. We highly recommend El Reducto for accommodations, dinner, its incredible history, and decor, as well as the kind and friendly staff. Be sure to ask about all of the decorations and the photographs hanging on the walls. This place is like a mini museum. Enjoy!!"

This is a wonderful hotel. Exceptional in service, cleanliness, location, parking, and esthetics. My wife was unhappy with the room I had booked due to its size and aspect. We were offered gratis an upgrade to the Junior suite which the hotel was not obligated to do.This gesture made our stay exceptional. The girls at reception were professional, helpful and friendly. We had an excellent experience at Hotel L’escale in Morocco. The rooms are outstanding, extremely clean, well maintained, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing and peaceful stay. Everything reflects quality, comfort, and professionalism. But the real highlight of Hotel L’escale is definitely the staff. The service was impeccable from beginning to end, always with kindness, attention, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help. We would especially like to thank Souheil P, Majda, Kawtar, and Ichrak, who were incredibly attentive and professional throughout our stay. Overall Chefchaouen is good to see in 1-2 days MAX. you are not there for the food, so dont expect the best of the best. You are there to see the culture and the city and then I would suggest moving onto the next stop on your trip. I 100% reccomend going however it isnt a spot to spend the whole trip

Awesome town and medina. I did not expect it coud be that interesting and beautiful: surely underrated! People are kind, no hassle at all, and it's way cheaper than Tangier! I surely recommend a stay in Tetouan!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Travelling with young children can be a challenge but with the help and hospitality we experienced it made the whole thing so much easier. Even when it came down to nursing a sick child we were provided with the relevant medicine by staff. They went above and beyond to make this a great experience for us.

The little town is worth visiting for one hour. The location is ideal. This is the nearest hotel to borders. You should really avoid it, unless you are broke and want to spend the night for 15 euros. There can't be place like this. It reminds me of India.

The restaurants we tried were excellent, similar prices to Spain. Yves st laurent’s gardens definitely worth a visit, a choice of 3 restaurants, we chose the international restaurant, food excellent, slightly spoilt by what had been a charming waiter asking for a tip, saying they didn’t have change and that the 10% service charge wasn’t for him. The manager sorted out the change and apologised. You have to have a fair degree of fitness to negotiate the hills and the awful pavements and roads. Driving is extremely hazardous, on occasion scary!

It was surprisingly a nice stay.

It was surprisingly a nice stay. Just wish we knew more places and things to do around there. We went to the waterfalls and the Spanish mosque. My youngest two were 11 and 13 so they could take part in everything we did easily.
