United StatesLoved this hotel, it was very beautiful, comfortable and clean! The staff were great, the woman who attends breakfast was always so friendly which felt really welcoming. The breakfast was pretty simple but good. The location is great and easy to walk around the town and straight to the beach, it is also close by to the activities offered in the area. Parking was also really easy! I would definitely recommend!

NetherlandsThe hotel itself was immaculate. José was exceptional as well as the in room service. We had a baby and they were so kind of set everything up with the bed and do it all for us. José even helped us upgrade to a Seaview which was amazing, the restaurant also beside the hotel was delicious. All the staff were amazing, helpful, and very respectful.

It’s a lovely town with lots of interesting shop and boutiques, plenty of cafes and restaurants, all good food at good value, the beach is lovely and sandy although the sunbed price is disproportionate to the quality of the beds - mostly broken, the beach was full of green biting bugs, maybe the time of year? For a special meal we would recommend Antonio’s, fantastic food, elegant but discreet service, fantastic sea views and an excellent wine list.

The beaches are outwordly beautiful and wild.
The beaches are outwordly beautiful and wild. We were there during very high winds and we couldn't really stay on the beach (it was blowing sand and shells right at us, rather painfully). But for beauty, I think the beaches from Zahara all the way up to Cadiz are unparalleled. If I was in charge of some of the fancier resorts in Zahara (the entire coast is not really developed, which make it so beautiful) I would heat the pools.

Miles of lovely sandy beach along the Atlantic coast, a gentle beach, no sudden depth of water, so safe for all ages..
So many welcoming bars and restaurants, one is spoilt for choice for snacking on tapas or for more classy fine dining.
The weather is pretty much the same as the Mediterranean coast in Spain, but enhanced by soft breezes coming off the sea.
There are a good number of hotels for such a small town, and self catering rentals abound.
I can’t wait to return! 😊

Zahara de Los Atunes is a charming unspoiled little town.
Zahara de Los Atunes is a charming unspoiled little town. It suits those who are genuinely interested in Spanish life. It is unashamedly Spanish and doesn't try to compete with the brasher resorts of the Costa Del Sol.
I am reluctant to recommend it to others but that is only because I want to keep it for myself.

I came here when my children were very small and it's still a special place. Beautiful beaches, great waves if you like that sort of thing and wonderful sunsets. The restaurants in the centre of town are excellent quality and value. Try the bars in the Mercado, they're open until 4pm and serve up sushi type dishes in a lively atmosphere. With the tide in or out a walk along the shoreline is a great thing to do, and is easy to hop from one chiringuito to the next...

I love Zahara de los Atunes because it's really small and nice city. It still has vibe of place where you can get lost - especially if you don't know Spanish. But people are friendly and helpful. It's a little bit like time travel going there, where tourisms was not so popular and where not everything is prepared for foreigners. I love it.

The hotel was really close to the centre of town (5 mins walk). We were there for the Ruta del Atunes and the hotel was a perfect location. Staff were very welcoming and charming. Parking was easy. Very clean
