I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were truly amazing, friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Dina at the reception, as well as the other two gentlemen on the reception team, who were all incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I also want to recognize the gentleman working at the café and the two ladies there, who provided excellent service with a smile every time. Honestly, the entire team made me feel welcome and well looked after. The service was excellent, and the lobby’s interior design is absolutely beautiful. It has a stylish, elegant atmosphere that creates a great first impression. I really loved it and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Being in the centre usually means noise, but this was a quiet sanctuary. Special mention to the pillows—they were like sleeping on a cloud. Make sure you get the breakfast; it is absolutely worth it with a great selection for everyone.

The room was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. Staff was very nice and helped with any informations we needed. Bed was so comfortable that we slept like babies after walking all day. The hotel is located in the middle of Santa Cruz quarter which made our vacation easier, everything to visit was around us, about 30 minutes maximum to walk. Another thing which we liked was how delicious was breakfast, a lot of choices, amazing deserts and fresh juices. We had an wonderful experience with Casa Alhaja by Shiadu so we definitely would recommend it to everyone 😊

FAQs about hotels in Andalucía

Pulsating with History and Tradition

Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.

Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.

Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.

Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.

Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

We stayed there with our toddler for two nights. It was very clean and offered great value for money. The pool area is amazing, and so is the breakfast buffet. Definitely recommend it for families. But I am not sure if I would take the all included option with dinners and lunches for 1 week. Before booking I was a bit hesitating because overall reviews for this hotel were not so high. But I am glad I took this hotel. It is not a 5 star luxury hotel, the design of the room is a bit outdated but it did not matter at all. Our trip took place in the end of May and it was full of Spanish tourists who had came to relax for good value for money. They have activity programmes in the evenings in a rather outdated bar and entertainment hall. I enjoyed the karaoke and dancing nights a lot, even though I am not usually a fan of kitschy entertainment programmes in all-inclusive resort hotels. Since the staff seemed to speak mostly Spanish and most of the participants were Spaniards from other regions, the atmosphere felt somehow different — in a good way.

Great resort! The facilities on the property are great. The staff are absolutely incredible, they are super efficient and very friendly. The pool is amazing and quite big considering how busy it gets. We chose the room with the pool and sea view which is best located for a great view of the sunset. We also booked the full board option which is great option as the meals are quite expensive.

Seville is an amazing city.

Seville is an amazing city. Most of the places we visited were walkable from our hotel. It has an amazing history and we loved finding out about it. The Cathedral is stunning as is the Alcazar and the Jewish quarter is definitely worth a visit. The food is sensational with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants everywhere. It was extremely hot when we visited so plan your visit carefully as the heat can be extreme.

A very beautiful city filled with historical sites within walking distance of one another. The city is also very walkable, but beware of the inclines. Easy access to public transport and taxis. Great food options. Alhambra is a MUST see at least once in your life. If I had an extra day I would also love to see Alhambra at night. Another highlight of my trip was walking along Paseo Los Tristes in the evening and taking a bus to Mirador san Nicolas for a night view of the Alhambra skyline.

This is a nice beach location which can be used as a base for other activities on the Costa Del Sol, Andalusia... or even Gibraltar and Morocco. It is close enough to a major city centre (Malaga) without feeling you are in a city. While 3 nights would be enough if all you care about is the beach, you would need up to 5 nights if exploring.

The Old Town had an authentic feel, with some gems of tapas restaurants and lovely little cobbles streets. The promenade was amazing in the morning for a seafront run or long walk. It was also packed with restaurants, bars, boutiques - just lovely. The Saturday Nueva Puerto Banus Mercadillo (market) is worth visiting as it has some lovely artisan items with a typical Mediterranean/North African vibe. Not so keen on Puerto Banus area itself as it had a much more manicured, luxurious, Insta-ready, touristy feel, but I am sure some people would like it!

We were staying opposite Bil Bil castle and so it was a bit of a walk to the marina area and not a huge amount going on enroute - nice bar/restaurants. The marina was nice enough but for a 11-12 night stay you wouldn’t want to be visiting the same area every night. We got a taxi into Benalmadena centre and were surprised at how little there was going on there too. Our holiday is very much made from relaxing during the day in the sun then mooching around local shops and having a meal and few drinks in the evening. Personal opinion would be that I wouldn’t visit again as the whole place needs a facelift. The hotels , bars and restaurants (other than 1 5star hotel that looked nice on the way to the marina) all look very dated. We ended up eating in 2 restaurants over the course of our stay as we struggled for anywhere that looked particularly nice/clean - and i am not a fussy eater but do expect a good level of cleanliness!

I liked the monuments, streets, people, the beaches and the calmness. Everything was on a walk distance and there was many pretty places to see. I wish there were recommendations to Calachica because that was a hidden gem. But I wished some of the buildings next to the monuments were taken care of and especially the beaches. I ate in an awesome burger spot, had ice cream, had local churros and ate the best poke bowl too.

We discovered Fuengirola in February, when we were there for 3 weeks. We absolutely loved it. As the weather was quite cold, we spent our time exploring the area by use of their excellent public transport: Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Malaga, Mijas Costa and Pueblo, and Marbella, all easily accessible. We have since been back twice, and are planning a further trip in September. We have stayed in mainly around the los boliches area, twice on the beach front, and then further inland near to the train station. Each time we have discovered something new. We have only briefly visited the actual centre, but not of an evening. There are so many wonderful restaurants and bars. We found the Spanish bars were really cheap, and they were super friendly, so welcoming. The beaches were spotless, the water clear and quite calm. The sunbeds and parasols are of really good quality. You will find the prices vary from 6 to 9 € for a bed and parasol. There are plenty of toilets and showers.
