The welcome and all interactions from Mauricio and Bobby at the hotel were warm and friendly! The room was quiet, bright, spacious and extremely clean with large balcony windows and AC. The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of the little village but near the coast. It was easy to take the bus or a taxi. The restaurant recommendations were excellent too and should be sought and followed. Although they do not offer breakfast there are several local cafes literally across the street which were the focal point of local village life at all times of the day. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We were staying opposite Bil Bil castle and so it was a bit...

We were staying opposite Bil Bil castle and so it was a bit of a walk to the marina area and not a huge amount going on enroute - nice bar/restaurants. The marina was nice enough but for a 11-12 night stay you wouldn’t want to be visiting the same area every night. We got a taxi into Benalmadena centre and were surprised at how little there was going on there too. Our holiday is very much made from relaxing during the day in the sun then mooching around local shops and having a meal and few drinks in the evening. Personal opinion would be that I wouldn’t visit again as the whole place needs a facelift. The hotels , bars and restaurants (other than 1 5star hotel that looked nice on the way to the marina) all look very dated. We ended up eating in 2 restaurants over the course of our stay as we struggled for anywhere that looked particularly nice/clean - and i am not a fussy eater but do expect a good level of cleanliness!

Benalmadena is a lovely place to visit with so much to do and see, beaches are lovely with sunbeds to higher and plenty of restaurants on the beach front to enjoy, the marina is full of shops & restaurants and plenty of boat trips to book. There is plenty of transport from local buses or the tourist bus

Benalmadena is a lovely beach resort with great public transport. We found lovely local restaurants and enjoyed walking the coastal walk down to the harbour which was much busier. We took the bus up to the old town which was beautiful, we also took the bus to Malaga which is a great day out where you can visit the bustling market and Picasso exhibition, try tapas in the market or surrounding bars.

Clean, tidy and with loads of bars and eateries. The beaches are not too full with plenty of room around the sunbeds, which only cost 6 euros per bed per day. Not too far from Mijas which is easily reached by local bus.

Benalmadena is a great resort with loads of restaurants and things to do. You also have the options of going each side of the Marina to La Curihuela and the other side. We spent most days on the beach. There were strong waves on some of the days we were there and strong currents. The lifeguards were running along the beach so they were aware of this and were giving out warnings as I think it was quite dangerous.

Benalmádena is a fantastic coastal resort with something for everyone. The beautiful marina is the heart of the resort and is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with plenty of yachts, shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. There is a great choice of restaurants serving everything from traditional Spanish cuisine to international dishes, and the prices are very reasonable. The nightlife is lively without being overwhelming, with many bars offering excellent live music and entertainment throughout the evening. The beaches are clean and well maintained, and the promenade is ideal for walking along the seafront. Whether you're looking to relax, enjoy great food and drinks, or experience a lively atmosphere, Benalmádena is an excellent holiday destination that we would happily visit again.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Juan Antonio 5 ⭐. Hotel Facilities and room amenities were exceptional for a 3 star accommodation. The location and view was excellent, I’ve added some photos from our room balcony. I wouldn’t hesitate returning to this place for another visit and would highly recommend anyone who wants to stay in the Benalmadena area to consider this hotel. Alberto (the owner) was super friendly and helpful, he has replied and visited us quickly and immediately answered our all questions. Apartment is very comfortable with everything a family needs (would be perfect to have a loundry machine too, but there is a rental one in the hotel), it is clean and well maintained. Hotel complex has a supermarket, several pools and is just accross the beautiful and long sea promenade. We would definitely stay again if come to Benalmadena again.
