B&Bs in Taiping

This place was great! The room was really clean and comfortable. Nice bed, desk, a bunch of outlets, also a set of hooks!(hooks are so helpful when you’re living out of a backpack:) The shower was hot with good pressure, nice towels, plus a bath mat(always a plus to keep the room dry). Location is great, near the Lake Gardens and a bunch of restaurants, and the hotel sent a whole list of recommendations which were great. All the staff are so nice and constantly asking if we needed anything. It’s a cute place too, nice decor and fresh flowers in vases all over. There was a communal kitchen and water dispensers. Really a wonderful stay.

The accommodation has its own attraction and uniqueness. If you are looking for village or countryside alike vibe, then this is one of the options you could consider, due to its serene and tranquility ambient and surrounding. The location is not far from the Rain Forest town, Taiping, and it's convenient as well to access to the major highways.

Very cosy hostel! Super friendly host, easy check in and security system, clean and comfortable rooms with lockers beneath the bed and curtains for privacy. Fridge, cutlery etc. and drinking water are provided.

Staff is friendly. Room is comfortable.

The homestay location is pleasant, strategically for those who wants to stay as checkpoint before going elsewhere for one-day trip style. Room is clean and comfy, main point is have the option to get dedicated bathroom and shared washing machines/dryer

Very comfortable stay. Had a good kitchen. Everything clean. Room was big and quiet. Management was helpful and friendly. Location is good, a 10-15 minute taxi ride to all of the main attractions in the city. Also have free usage of washing machine and dryer.

The best kind of charming kampung homestay. Unpretentious, quaint, snug, lovingly decorated. I felt like I was visiting the Malay grandma I never had. It was both a home away from home and a totally novel experience for both my friend and me. One of the best parts of staying here was waking up early in the morning and sitting in the garden with a cup of 3-in-1. Bliss. Teratak Opah Kamunting was a huge part of why our trip to Taiping was a success. Instead of staying in chain hotels, try this little gem instead.
