The best kind of charming kampung homestay. Unpretentious, quaint, snug, lovingly decorated. I felt like I was visiting the Malay grandma I never had. It was both a home away from home and a totally novel experience for both my friend and me. One of the best parts of staying here was waking up early in the morning and sitting in the garden with a cup of 3-in-1. Bliss. Teratak Opah Kamunting was a huge part of why our trip to Taiping was a success. Instead of staying in chain hotels, try this little gem instead.

Very comfortable stay. Had a good kitchen. Everything clean. Room was big and quiet. Management was helpful and friendly. Location is good, a 10-15 minute taxi ride to all of the main attractions in the city. Also have free usage of washing machine and dryer.

Clean n practical. They provide basic needs and enough for both of us. Comfy place and best part we had a room that has roof porch to park our car. We plan ride there coz of the cleanlines, roof por h to park our car and feel secure and safe.
