B&Bs in Winsum

The owner is very helpful and friendly. Nice bright bedroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine in the bedroom. Quiet place. Even though I made a mistake in renting a room with shared bathroom, I felt comfortable. I’m just to have the bathroom next to my bed so that was a little annoying when I woke up in the middle of the night but the owner leaves the lights on so it was not that difficult.

Lauret welcomed us on arrival and we had a fantastic meal where Martin went through every course explaining all the way.

The breakfast was always presented beautifully in the charming dining room, where we could see the lovely garden outside. The house is located very conveniently. We had nice dinners in town--there were surprisingly good options. We chose to stay here because we wanted to explore this part of northern Netherlands. It was within reasonable driving distance to Groningen and to a couple of local hidden gems nearby. We also enjoyed being enchanted every morning by the rural surroundings and by the stars at night. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with big windows and a very modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I have back problems but slept very well even after a long drive.

Excellent cozy room with comfortable beds and bathroom adjacent. Especially the breakfast in the morning was exceeding our expectations! Thanks a lot to our host for making our stay a joy.

What a unique place, sleeping in a theater.

One of the best breakfast which I had ever. Thanks to Ms. Marijke for her extraordinary hospitality during my 2 days stay. The house was about 250 years old but very well preserved and has a great garden.
