The cleanest place I have ever stayed in. Gentle host. Pet friendly. Spacious room. Safe parking. Very good value for money. The host organizes mountain bike tours and enduro tours on motorbikes. Bicycles and motorbikes can be rented via the host. If you like hiking, the host can provide tours. The hotel certainly is not a biker's place although enduro motorbike tours are offered.

This is the best place I stayed in my entire Minho trip. It’s situated in a large farm right next to a famous winery. The place is covered by roses and vineyards. Lovely ladies prepare wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits and squeezed orange juice. They actually gave me oranges grown in their house. They are most juicy oranges I have ever had.

The hospitality and the family environment is what defines the north/interior of Portugal folks. The gastronomy is rich and plenty of flavor, the natural sights from waterfalls and mountains is peaceful and free from huge crowds. The pool is small but amazing, maintained with sea salt instead of bleach which makes it very friendly for kids. Plenty of activities in the surrounding areas and villages close by, such as pena adventure park where you can slide a cable at 150mts high and 1.5 kms long and many other activities.

It was close to the centre of town and had a lovely view of the river but the standout was Luisinha herself who was incredibly kind and attentive offering wine and cheese in our arrivals to check in and even a cup of tea and cookies when we returned after dinner.
